dc.description.abstractLas conflictividades socioambientales en el sur de Santander han permeado el diario vivir del territorio, desembocando una masiva violación de derechos humanos y ambientales, todo esto bajo una persuasión de intereses económicos, sociales y ambientales de dos principales actores clave, las empresas privadas y el estado. Dichas conflictividades generan un impacto negativo en las comunidades locales y en los ecosistemas, no obstante, las comunidades locales no son meramente víctimas, inician siéndolo, pero también son sujetos políticos que luchan y resisten por su territorio, no se resignan a ser meros receptores de daños y perjuicios, sino que se convierten en sujetos de cambio que buscan activamente en su accionar un mejor mañana, más justo; exigiendo a su vez escenarios de participación al estado, mediante el derecho, como herramienta, donde se resiste día a día por una justicia ambiental y social.
dc.description.abstractenglishThe socio-environmental conflicts in the south of Santander have permeated the daily life of the territory, leading to a massive violation of human and environmental rights, all of this under a persuasion of economic, social and environmental interests of two main actors key, private companies and the state. These conflicts generate a negative impact on local communities and the ecosystems, however, local communities are not merely victims, they start out being victims, but they are also political subjects who fight and resist for their territory, they do not resign themselves to being mere recipients of damages and losses, but become subjects of change that seek actively in their actions for a better, fairer tomorrow; demanding in turn scenarios of participation to the state, through law, as a tool, where it resists day by day for environmental and social justice.
