dc.description.abstractSEMCO es un sistema de información que permite la administración de algunos procesos de las emisoras institucionales UIS Stereo y UIS AM de la Universidad Industrial de Santander, como son la búsqueda bajo diferentes parámetros, tales como Intérprete, Compositor, Arreglista, Sello Discográfico, entre otros, del material sonoro con que cuenta la sala de Fonoteca; la administración de dicho material, entendida ésta como el préstamo de material y el proceso de inventario de la sala de Fonoteca, y el establecimiento de un canal de comunicación electrónico entre los miembros del equipo de trabajo. El desarrollo del sistema está soportado en el proceso unificado, metodología que se apoya en el lenguaje de modelado unificado (UML) y está regida por tres aspectos: dirigida por casos de uso, centrado en la arquitectura y es iterativo e incremental. Por otro lado, el sistema está soportado en software libre como la base de datos MySQL, y el lenguaje de scripts PHP. El sistema se desarrolló a lo largo de varias fases, desde la fase de inicio recopilando los requisitos, pasando por la fase de elaboración que permite definir la arquitectura y finalizando en la fase de construcción que permite desarrollar el producto a entregar a los usuarios finales.
dc.description.abstractenglishSEMCO is an information system that allows for the administration of certain processes inside the institutional radio stations UIS Stereo and UIS A.M. of the Industrial University of Santander, such as searching for specific audible material under different search criteria (e.g. Composer, Label, Performer, amongst others); the management of such material, which implies its loan to the organization's staff members, and the process of inventory in the audible material's room, as well as the establishment of an electronic communication channel for the staff members. The system hereby described has been developed under the Unified Process, which is a methodology supported by the Unified Modeling Language (UML), whose most important features must be mentioned: it is use-case driven; its approach is both iterative and incremental, and it is centered on architecture. Additionally, the system is backed up by open software such as PHP and MySQL. The system has been developed throughout several phases, from the Inception Phase collecting requirements, continuing to the Elaboration Phase in order to define the architecture, all the way up to the Construction Phase, which allows for developing the application software to be delivered to the end users.
