dc.description.abstract	Durante los últimos años se ha venido manifestando un hecho que ya no es ajeno a nuestro cotidiano vivir, el uso de tecnologías en nuestro día a día se ha convertido en una constante y esto representa lo que se denomina como la cuarta revolución industrial, un cambio que se esta dando a gran velocidad y que consta en el uso de tecnologías digitales, modificando la manera en que vivimos y como nos relacionamos con los demás. Teniendo esto como base, las empresas han debido modificar y adaptar sus operaciones a estos cambios ya que estos representan una fuerte ventaja competitiva para quien los adopta en sus operaciones de manera adecuada, teniendo en cuenta sus objetivos y estrategias, así como sus debilidades para tomar la decisión mas acertada. Para las empresas del sector salud innovar en sus procesos es fundamental, ya que su principal objetivo es brindar una atención de calidad a sus pacientes; teniendo esto en mente buscan innovar de acuerdo a los avances tecnológicos que se van presentando, el uso de herramientas como el big data, machine learning e inteligencia artificial son simplemente algunos de los términos que investigan y estudian para el mejoramiento de sus procesos internos. Las innovaciones tecnológicas representan un punto de inicio para la transformación digital del sector salud, por lo cual en el presente proyecto de investigación se exponen aquellas innovaciones tecnológicas que se encuentran a la vanguardia y aquellas utilizadas por tres organizaciones prestadoras de salud principalmente, conociendo sus usos y beneficios para el sector por medio de una revisión de la literatura y un análisis de contenido web.
dc.description.abstractenglish	During the last few years, a fact that is no longer alien to our daily lives has been manifesting itself, the use of technologies in our daily lives has become a constant and this represents what is called the fourth industrial revolution, a change that is occurring at great speed and that consists in the use of digital technologies, modifying the way we live and how we relate to others. Taking this as a basis, companies have had to modify and adapt their operations to these changes since they represent a strong competitive advantage for those who adopt them in their operations in an appropriate manner, taking into account their objectives and strategies, as well as their weaknesses to make the right decision. For companies in the health sector, innovating in their processes is fundamental, since their main objective is to provide quality care to their patients; with this in mind, they seek to innovate according to the technological advances that are being presented, the use of tools such as big data, machine learning and artificial intelligence are simply some of the terms that they investigate and study for the improvement of their internal processes. Technological innovations represent a starting point for the digital transformation of the health sector, which is why this research project exposes those technological innovations that are at the forefront and those used by three health care organizations mainly, knowing their uses and benefits for the sector through a literature review and web content analysis.
