dc.description.abstractEl presente trabajo da cuenta del fenómeno de la maternidad disidente representado en la novela "Los abismos" (2021) de Pilar Quintana. Esto, mediante el establecimiento de categorías de análisis (culturales, discursivas, narratológicas) que apuntan a sostener que la obra desestabiliza nociones tradicionales asociadas a la maternidad, contrario a lo afirmado por un sector de la crítica. Para lo anterior, la investigación realizada se valió de un marco teórico compuesto por teoría feminista aplicada al estudio de la literatura, postulados de género al respecto del problema de la maternidad y un análisis narratológico que abordó planteamientos tradicionales revisados a la luz de un enfoque de género. Para así, finalmente, convenir que "Los abismos" (2021) tiene el propósito de desequilibrar lo que está social y tradicionalmente asociado con la maternidad.
dc.description.abstractenglishThis research addresses the phenomenon of dissident motherhood depicted in the novel "Abyss" (2021) by Pilar Quintana. This is accomplished by establishing analytical categories (cultural, discursive, narratological) aimed at arguing that the work destabilizes traditional notions associated with motherhood, contrary to what some critics assert. To achieve this, the conducted research relied on a theoretical framework composed of feminist theory applied to the study of literature, gender postulates regarding the issue of motherhood, and a narratological analysis that approached traditional concepts re-evaluated in the light of a gender perspective. Thus, ultimately, it is agreed that "Los abismos" (2021) aims to upset what is socially and traditionally linked with motherhood.
