dc.description.abstractEsta investigación se llevó a cabo bajo el enfoque cualitativo-investigación acción y la cual tenía como propósito fortalecer la competencia del uso comprensivo del conocimiento de las ciencias a partir de la lectura de textos con contenido científico, en estudiantes del grado sexto de la institución del sector público Instituto Tecnológico Salesiano Eloy Valenzuela de la ciudad de Bucaramanga del departamento de Santander. De manera que se diseñó, planificó e implementó una secuencia didáctica basada en la forma de abordar el texto científico a través de unas series de pasos o etapas como lo propuso el autor Tyrone Emilio Sanabria Herrera, para de esta manera alcanzar el correcto desarrollo del uso comprensivo del conocimiento científico mediante la comprensión del conocimiento expuesto en el texto, la apropiación del fenómeno científico inmerso y la aplicación del conocimiento científico a situaciones problema relacionadas con el contenido disciplinar abordado en la lectura. Dentro de los resultados obtenidos se pudo percibir un mejoramiento en el desarrollo de las habilidades científicas de los estudiantes involucrados; de manera que comprendían de una mejor forma la información que se les enseñaba en el texto logrando describir, analizar y argumentar a partir de lo leído para finalmente buscar posibles soluciones a problemáticas presentadas desde una perspectiva científica.
dc.description.abstractenglishThis research was carried out under the qualitative-research action approach and whose purpose was to strengthen the competence of the comprehensive use of knowledge of science from the reading of texts with scientific content, in students of the sixth grade of the institution of the public sector Salesian Technical Institute Eloy Valenzuela placed in Bucaramanga city, department of Santander. In this way, a didactic sequence was designed, planned and implemented based on the way of approaching the scientific text through a series of steps or stages as proposed by the author Tyrone Emilio Sanabria Herrera, in order to achieve the correct development of the comprehensive use of the scientific knowledge through the understanding of the knowledge presented in the text, the appropriation of the immersed scientific phenomenon and the application of scientific knowledge to problem situations related to the disciplinary content addressed in reading. Within the results obtained, an improvement in the development of the scientific skills of the students involved could be perceived; so that they understood in a better way the information that they were taught in the text managing to describe, analyze and argue from the read to finally find possible solutions to problems presented from a scientific perspective.
