dc.description.abstractEl sector industrial manufacturero es percibido desde la teoría económica como el sector clave para el desarrollo económico de las economías modernas. Esto se debe a que las dinámicas económicas que permiten identificar ciclos de causación circular acumulativos son las que transcurren por medio de los procesos de crecimiento o decrecimiento del sector industrial manufacturero. Por lo tanto, el análisis de las variables principales que comprometen el comportamiento del sector es importante para establecer políticas económicas eficientes que permitan impulsar o generar estos procesos de acumulación circular; procesos que para el periodo de estudio no existen en la región, debido a efectos económicos coyunturales y estructurales. El trabajo de tesis aborda un análisis de la industria manufacturera del área metropolitana de Bucaramanga. En donde se hace una revisión general de las principales variables de la industria, y una contextualización del sector externo para el periodo de tiempo 2008-2016. Se realiza una estimación del empleo manufacturero por medio de un modelo estadístico Shift-Share, para determinar las industrias manufactureras más dinámicas de la región. El análisis de este documento de tesis es superficial, pero permite identificar el comportamiento del sector industrial en el área metropolitana de Bucaramanga, para establecer una serie de recomendaciones que permitan facilitar el cumplimiento de los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible. *
dc.description.abstractenglishThe industrial manufacturing sector is a perceived from economic theory as the key sector for the economic development of modern economies. This is because the economic dynamics that allow the identification of circular cumulative causation cycles are those that take place through the processes of growth or decrease of the manufacturing industrial sector. Therefore, the analysis of the main variables that compromise the behavior of the sector is important to establish efficient economic policies that allow to drive or generate these processes of circular accumulation; processes that for the study period do not exist in the region, due to economic and structural economic effects. The thesis work deals with an analysis of the manufacturing industry in the metropolitan area of Bucaramanga. Where there is a general review of the main variables of the industry, and a contextualization of the external sector for the period 2008-2016. An estimate is made of employment in the manufacturing industry using a statistical model Shift-Share, to determine the most dynamic manufacturing industries in the region. The analysis of this thesis document is superficial, but it allows to identify the behavior of the industrial sector in the metropolitan area of Bucaramanga, to establish a series recommendation that facilitate the fulfillment of the Sustainable Development Goals. *
