dc.description.abstractEste documento tiene el objetivo de mostrar la dualidad presente en los tres personajes principales de la novela Un mal asunto (2009) de Silvia Galvis, así como evidenciar la ruptura con la narrativa de la novela negra y el policial clásico. Para cumplir tal objetivo se planteó un enfoque metodológico orientado en la comparación de arquetipos de las novelas anteriormente mencionadas. Para ello, se sintetizó la información mediante la creación de reseñas para todos los artículos y trabajos de grado encontrados que hacían alusión a obra de la escritora santandereana. También se utilizaron numerosas bases de datos y libros en formato físico al momento de elegir los textos más adecuados para argumentar la tesis del documento. En cuanto a los resultados, se dividieron en tres capítulos con diferentes secciones dentro de sí mismos. Cada capítulo corresponde a un personaje en específico y en cómo refleja este su dualidad al analizar sus comportamientos, diálogos, y acciones notablemente contradictorias. Los personajes son: la fiscal Lourdes Ruán (detective), Nancy Inés Walkers (criminal) y Elsy Walkers (víctima). Finalmente, en cada capítulo de la presente investigación se expone a la sociedad como una de las causas más importantes en la decadencia moral de los personajes dentro de la novela.
dc.description.abstractenglishThis document aims to show the present duality in the three main characters of the novel Un mal asunto (2009) by Silvia Galvis, and to demonstrate the departure from the narrative of the hardboiled novel and classic detective novel. To properly achieve this objective, a methodological approach was raised, focused on comparing with archetypes from the previously mentioned novels. To do this, the information was synthesized by creating reviews for all articles and theses alluding to the work of the Santanderan writer. Also used numerous databases and physical books when choosing the most appropriated texts to supports the thesis of the document. Regarding to results, they are divided into three chapters with different sections within themselves. Each chapter corresponds to a specific character and how they reflect their duality by analyzing their notably contradictory behaviors, dialogues, and actions. The characters are: the prosecutor Lourdes Ruán (detective), Nancy Inés Walkers (criminal) y Elsy Walkers (victim). Finally, in each chapter of this research, society is presented as one of the most significant causes of the moral decay of the characters in the novel.
