dc.description.abstractEl presente proyecto de grado se realizó en el Hospital Héctor Abad Gómez de Yondó-Antioquia, Empresa Social del Estado de primer nivel en atención de salud y el cual tiene como principal objetivo mejorar la calidad de sus servicios e implementar una gestión por procesos. El proyecto se desarrolló en 6 etapas para el cumplimiento de los objetivos específicos diseñados en el mismo, las cuales inician con la realización de un diagnóstico que permitió identificar aquellos procesos donde hay oportunidad de mejora. Para su realización se usaron diferentes herramientas o técnicas, cuantitativas y cualitativas. Teniendo en cuenta esta información se planteó a la directiva una serie de propuestas que permitieran disminuir las problemáticas encontradas en el diagnóstico. Seguido se hizo la ejecución de las propuestas de mejora entre las cuales estaba la realización de una política de inventarios y utilización de herramientas lean como kaizen y gestión visual para el mejoramiento continuo de los diferentes servicios del hospital. Finalmente, se diseñaron los indicadores los cuales permiten evaluar y controlar las mejoras implementadas. Además, se realizó la capacitación y socialización con el personal involucrado en las mejoras y al mismo tiempo se desarrolló las respectivas recomendaciones sobre los procesos intervenidos.
dc.description.abstractenglishThe present document is a project taking place at the Hospital "Abad Gómez" in Yondó-Antioquia. The Hospital is a first-class social enterprise belonging to the state which focuses on the improvements of the Institution's processes and the implementation of a methodology for each process. In six stages was the project done to fulfill on the specific objectives planned withinthe project itself. A diagnosis was set up to run and identify any process with a gap for improvement. To carried all this out, quantitative and qualitative techniques were employed. Taking into account all this information, a series of proposals to decrease the number of problematics in the diagnosis was evaluated and presented to the board. Furthermore, some of the proposals were done in the area of inventory's politics, in which there was the utilization of lean tools like kaizen, as well as Visual Management to keep the continued improvement of the different hospital services. At the end, there were designed indicators, which allowed to evaluate and control the implemented improvements. Furthermore, there was training delivered to all the staff involved with the improvements, and at the same time, some recommendations were given on the processes that were worked on.
