dc.description.abstractEl presente trabajo de grado consiste en la reformulación del PGIRASA (Plan de Gestión de Residuos Generados en la Atención en Salud y Otras Actividades) para las unidades de la Sección de Servicios Integrales de Salud y Desarrollo Psicosocial de Bienestar Universitario, con código 6800103053 en el Registro Especial de Prestadores de Servicios de Salud, los cuales son la Sección Salud de Bienestar Universitario, la Unidad Especializada en servicios de Salud (UISALUD), Laboratorio Clínico y el Laboratorio de Genética. Durante el desarrollo del proyecto, se realizó la revisión de las disposiciones técnicas legales vigentes que aplican a las instituciones que prestan servicios de salud, en lo que hace referencia a la gestión integral de los residuos; también se realizó un diagnóstico acerca del grado actual de cumplimiento de los aspectos ambientales frente a la normatividad que los rige. En el transcurso del diagnóstico, se elaboró una lista de chequeo, que ayudó a evaluar las cuatro unidades, dichas unidades se visitaron con el acompañamiento del sistema de gestión ambiental de la universidad. A continuación, se ejecutó la caracterización cualitativa y cuantitativa de los residuos que se generan en las diferentes áreas de la sección, lo cual se llevó a cabo durante la ruta sanitaria que tiene lugar semanalmente en cada unidad. En el documento se define los procedimientos, procesos y actividades a seguir durante el tratamiento y disposición final para los diferentes tipos de residuos generados en la sección Servicios Integrales de Salud y Desarrollo Psicosocial de Bienestar Universitario UIS. Finalmente, se realizó la implementación del sistema de indicadores para el seguimiento y medición al impacto del proyecto para la universidad. *
dc.description.abstractenglishThe present degree work consists of the reformulation of the PGIRASA (Waste Management Plan Generated in Health Care and Other Activities) for the units of the Section of Comprehensive Health Services and Psychosocial Development of University Welfare, with code 6800103053 in the Special Registry of Health Services Providers, which are the University Welfare Health Section, the Unit Specialized in Health Services (Uisalud), Clinical Laboratory and the Genetics Laboratory. During the development of the project, a review of the current legal technical provisions that apply to the institutions that provide health services was made, in what refers to the integral management of waste, a diagnosis was made about the current degree of compliance of the environmental aspects against the regulations that govern them. During the diagnosis, a checklist was made, which helped to evaluate the four units, these units were visited with the support of the university's environmental management system. Next, the qualitative and quantitative characterization of the waste generated in the different areas of the section was executed, this activity was carried out during the sanitary route that is carried out weekly in each unit. The document defines the procedures, processes and activities to be followed during the treatment and final disposal for the different types of waste generated in the integral health services and psychosocial development section of UIS University Welfare. Finally, the implementation of the system of indicators for monitoring and measuring the impact of the project for the university was carried out. *
