dc.description.abstractEl proyecto EL RESPLANDOR DE LA MIRADA tiene como objetivo construir una obra escultórica de gran formato que exprese mi percepción de la esquizofrenia, presente en mi árbol familiar, considerándola una posible vía de acceso a los contenidos arquetípicos del inconsciente. Este proyecto es el resultado de un proceso de consultas, análisis y comprensión de procesos de la interrelación entre lo humano, la teoría y la experimentación artística alrededor del tema de la esquizofrenia. Las piezas han sido elaboradas en fibra de vidrio, diseñadas y construidas para ser instaladas el espacio público y resistir a la intemperie. Cada una de las piezas encarna un personaje de una historia triste que se transmuta en un relato vivificador, con la intervención de un proceso psicológico, estético y artístico cuyo resultado es un hacerse a sí mismo. Es la historia de una niña que a sus cinco años fue separada de su madre pues ésta fue diagnosticada con esquizofrenia. La niña nunca pudo ser niña, pues, al no contar con su madre, tuvo que valerse por sí misma desde muy pequeña. Todo el mundo y hasta ella misma quería que su madre fuera normal. Pero, no lo era. La figura de la madre afectada y la de la madre anhelada, aparecen junto a la de la niña y a la del demonio o sombra que se apoderó de la historia. El documento consta de planteamiento del problema, justificación, objetivos, proceso (descripción conceptual, descripción formal) y conclusiones. La construcción de las piezas escultóricas estuvo determinada por la búsqueda y el hallazgo teórico en el tema de la esquizofrenia.
dc.description.abstractenglishThe project THE GLARE OF THE LOOK has as porpuse to build a large-scale sculptural work that expresses my perception of schizophrenia, present in my family tree, considering it a possible way of access to the archetypal contents of the unconscious. This project is the result of a process of consultation, analysis and understanding of processes of the interrelation between the human, the theory and the artistic experimentation around the subject of schizophrenia. The pieces have been made of fiberglass, disigned and built to be installed in the public space and resist the weather. Each of the pieces embodies a character from a sad story that is transmuted into a vivifier story, with the intervention of a psychological, aesthetic and artistic process whose result is a make you yourself. It is the story of a girl who at five years old was separated from her mother, because she was diagnosed with schizophrenia. The girl could never be a girl, because, not having her mother, she had to fend for herself from an early age. Everyone and even herself wanted her mother to be normal. But, she was not. The figure of the mother affected and that of the yearned mother, appears next to that of the girl and that of the demon or shadow that seized the story. The document consists of problem statement, justification, objectives, process (conceptual description, formal description) and conclusions. The construction of the sculptural pieces was determined by the search and theoretical findings on the subject of schizophrenia.
