dc.description.abstractEsta investigación está motivada por la búsqueda del entendimiento del fenómeno urbano en la ciudad de Pereira. Por tal motivo está inscrita dentro de la línea de investigación de la historia urbana pues tiene por objetivo general hacer una revisión y exposición descriptiva de los primeros fondos documentales producidos por la ciudad a partir de mediados del siglo XIX. Dichos fondos son el Archivo del Concejo de Pereira y el Archivo de la Notaría Primera de Pereira. Gracias a la información que estos aportaron se redactó de modo descriptivo la conformación de las instituciones locales así como del ente territorial al tiempo que se dio el proceso de adjudicación de tierras en diferentes etapas. Dichas etapas permiten construir una periodización del proceso de conformación política y espacial de Pereira que enmarca el periodo de 1857 a 1877 representando el tránsito de las asociaciones que produjeron los organismos encargados de la administración local, desde la Junta de Vecinos al Concejo Municipal; así como se especializó el ente territorial desde el sitio de Cartago Viejo al Municipio de Pereira. Esta investigación da cuenta de que dicho proceso de conformación estuvo jalonado por la búsqueda de los inmigrantes antioqueños por la consecución de tierras, y de algunos notables cartagüeños por iniciar proyectos en dicho territorio. Por ello se muestra las tres diferentes adjudicaciones y representan cartográficamente para su mayor entendimiento pues se inscriben dentro de diferentes contextos, rural y urbano. Finalmente se concluyó que existió una relación directa entre la búsqueda por obtención de tierras y la creación de un marco institucional que permitió la especialización de las asociaciones y organismos que administraron el territorio de modo tal que se convirtió en un proyecto urbano.
dc.description.abstractenglishThis investigation is motivated by the search of the understanding of the urban phenomenon in the city of Pereira. Of such reason it's enrolled into the investigation line of urban history because it must by general mission make an overhaul and descriptive exhibition of the first files produced by the city from half-full of XIX century. These records are the File of the Council of Pereira and the File of the First Notary office of Pereira. Thanks to this information the process of conformation of the institutions could be written up, as well as of the territory to the time that occurred the process of earth awarding in different stages. These stages allow to construct a perioditation of the process of political and space conformation of Pereira that frames the period from 1857 to 1877, representing the transit of the associations that produced the organisms in charge of the local administration, from the Meeting of Neighbors to Municipal Council; as well as the territory from the site of Old Cartago to the Municipality of Pereira. This investigation explains the process of conformation was laid out by the search of the Antiochian immigrants by the attainment of earth, and some cartagüeños notables to initiate projects in the same territory. For that reason this investigation shows the three different awardings and represent cartographically for his greater understanding, because they register within different contexts, rural and urban. Finally, it's possible to conclude that there was a direct relationship between the search by legalized earth, and the creation of an institutional frame that allowed the specialization of the associations and organisms that administered the way territory that it became into an urban project
