dc.description.abstract	La ampliación de las fronteras agrícolas y ganaderas cada vez está generando más mosaicos de bosques primarios aislados y reducidos, llegando a interferir con servicios ecosistémicos claves aportados por mamíferos voladores y terrestres. Así mismo, la construcción de macroproyectos hidroeléctricos cambia las dinámicas de los paisajes y principalmente los bosques riparios. Por lo tanto, son necesarios trabajos que analicen cómo la mastofauna utiliza y se distribuye dentro los diferentes tipos de coberturas en un área afectada por este tipo de intervenciones. En este trabajo, se evaluó cómo es la incidencia de las coberturas vegetales sobre la diversidad α y β de los mamíferos voladores y la composición de la mastofauna en general muestreada durante un año en 10 localidades asociadas al área de influencia del embalse de Topocoro, Santander. Se registraron 40 especies de mamíferos voladores y 37 de mamíferos terrestres para el área de influencia del embalse y los resultados muestran que, en general, la cobertura de territorios agrícolas es más diversa y con especies únicas de mamíferos voladores, también presentan mayor asociación con los mamíferos terrestres, sin embargo, no hay especies dependientes de hábitat. Esto se debe principalmente a la heterogeneidad del paisaje que beneficia a las especies generalistas y oportunistas y afecta a las especialistas, las cuales quedan restringidas a las coberturas de bosque continuo y fragmentado. En general, los resultados muestran que las coberturas con mayor intervención, aunque tengan mayor diversidad, registran una pérdida de especies especialistas importantes para el ecosistema. Por lo tanto, las coberturas de territorios agrícolas y bosque fragmentado generan una incidencia positiva sobre las especies generalistas y una incidencia negativa en aquellas especies menos tolerantes a los cambios.
dc.description.abstractenglish	The expansion of agricultural and livestock frontiers generates more isolated and reduced primary forest mosaics, interfering with key ecosystem services provided by flying and terrestrial mammals. Likewise, the construction of macro hydroelectric projects is changing the dynamics of landscapes, especially riparian forests. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze how the mastofauna used and distributed within the different types of cover in an area affected by this type of intervention. In this work, we evaluated the incidence of vegetation cover on the α and β diversity of flying mammals and the composition of the mastofauna in general sampled during one year in 10 localities associated with the area of influence of the Topocoro reservoir, Santander. Forty species of flying mammals and 37 species of terrestrial mammals were recorded for the area of influence of the reservoir. The results show that, in general, the coverage of agricultural territories is more diverse, and with unique species of flying mammals, they also present greater association with terrestrial mammals; however, there are no habitat-dependent species. This is mainly due to the heterogeneity of the landscape that benefits generalist and opportunistic species and affects specialists, who are restricted to continuous and fragmented forest cover. In general, the results show that the coverages with greater intervention, although they have greater diversity, register a loss of important specialist species for the ecosystem. Therefore, agricultural land and fragmented forest cover have a positive impact on generalist species and a negative impact on those species that are less tolerant to change.
