dc.description.abstractEste trabajo es el resultado de la revisión del diario El Tiempo con el fin de identificar como eran registradas las noticias relacionadas con la urbanización de Colombia a lo largo de la primera mitad de la década de los años sesenta, caracterizándose este periodo por las altas tasas de migración del campo a las ciudades y el crecimiento propio de las urbes, de esta manera se pudo contribuir al proyecto macro “La cuestión de la vivienda en Bucaramanga, 1949-1970” que es donde se enmarca el presente trabajo. En la segunda parte del trabajo se aborda la participación que tuvo el Instituto de Crédito Territorial dentro de las publicaciones que hacia el diario El Tiempo durante la primera mitad de la década de los años sesenta (1960-1964). De acuerdo a ello se centró especial atención en el ICT como principal institución que intervino frente a la problemática del déficit de vivienda a nivel nacional, sin embargo, no se dejan de lado otras instituciones e iniciativas que dieron forma a los proyectos de vivienda que estaban siendo registrados por El Tiempo.
dc.description.abstractenglishThis work is the result of a review of the newspaper El Tiempo in order to identify how news related to the urbanization of Colombia was recorded throughout the first half of the 1960s, this period being characterized by high rates of migration from the countryside to the cities and the growth of the cities, in this way it was possible to contribute to the macro project "The housing issue in Bucaramanga, 1949-1970" which is where the present work is framed. The second part of the work addresses the participation of the Territorial Credit Institute in the publications made by the newspaper El Tiempo during the first half of the sixties (1960-1964). Accordingly, special attention was focused on the ICT as the main institution that intervened in the face of the problem of the housing deficit at the national level, however, other institutions and initiatives that shaped the housing projects that were being recorded by El Tiempo.
