dc.description.abstractEl presente proyecto se basó en la necesidad que se refleja en la prestación del servicio en el área de hotelería enfocándose en el turismo accesible, exactamente en El Centro Histórico del municipio de El Socorro-Santander, donde se divide en dos partes; el primero consta de un diagnóstico y análisis de los establecimientos hoteleros donde se realizó una check list con los criterios especificados en la Norma Técnica Sectorial Colombiana 006 (NTSH 006) en requisitos de accesibilidad (Planta del edificio), posteriormente se realiza la encuesta diseñada y aplicada con el propósito de identificar el nivel de accesibilidad y el cumplimiento de la norma técnica sectorial. Como resultado se pudo obtener que una totalidad de hoteles encuestados no tienen conocimiento ni adaptación en la área interna o externa del hotel sobre implementación de rampas, baños públicos, atención al cliente, entre otras, por lo tanto la segunda parte se basa en la realización de una Guía de buenas prácticas de accesibilidad para establecimientos hoteleros que contiene información que le ayudará al operador turístico o empresario del área hotelera a tomar conciencia sobre la importancia de la adaptación del concepto de “Turismo Accesible” de manera profesional y responsable en su establecimiento, como resultado se socializa la guía con administradores y empleados de un hospedaje local permitiéndoles evaluar su compresión frente a esta herramienta diseñada como aporte a la accesibilidad turística en el municipio de El Socorro.
dc.description.abstractenglishThis project was based on the need that is reflected in the provision of the service in the hotel industry, focusing on accessible tourism, exactly in the Historic Center of the municipality of El Socorro-Santander, where it is divided into two parts; The first consists of a diagnosis and analysis of the hotel establishments where a check list was made with the criteria specified in the Colombian Sectorial Technical Standard 006 (NTSH 006) in accessibility requirements (Building floor), then the survey designed and applied with the purpose of identifying the level of accessibility and compliance with the sectoral technical standard. As a result, it was possible to obtain that a totality of hotels surveyed do not have knowledge or adaptation in the internal or external area of the hotel about the implementation of ramps, public toilets, customer service, among others, therefore the second part is based on the realization of a Guide to good accessibility practices for hotel establishments that contains information that will help the tour operator or hotel business owner to become aware of the importance of adapting the concept of "Accessible Tourism" in a professional and responsible manner in their establishment, As a result, the guide is socialized with administrators and employees of a local accommodation, allowing them to evaluate their understanding of this tool designed as a contribution to tourist accessibility in the municipality of the Socorro.
