dc.description.abstractEl presente trabajo de investigación se realiza con el fin de demostrar la factibilidad técnica y financiera de la construcción de una central de 10 MWp en MaicaoLa Guajira, presentando su dimensionamiento, cálculo, diseño e ingeniería, con énfasis en el estudio de la rentabilidad del proyecto, analizando principalmente el factor financiero y la estrategia para que éste sea competitivo en las subastas de energía nacional, cumpliendo con los requisitos exigidos por la UPME y por XM, desde la reglamentación y los requerimientos con que se debe cumplir para la adjudicación de los proyectos. Se calculará también el Capex y Opex del sistema y con ello el retorno a la inversión del proyecto y el flujo de caja libre cuyos ingresos requieren de la estimación de la tarifa del kWh en el mercado energético para evaluar la rentabilidad del proyecto mediante la formulación del VPN, procurando que éste se encuentre entre las tarificas adjudicadas anteriormente, es decir, que no se encuentre ni por debajo ni por encima de éste. Finalmente se propone un caso hipotético donde la generación ofertada ahora se encuentre en el máximo permitido para la participación, es decir, por debajo de los 20 MWp, para comparar los resultados obtenidos para ambos proyectos y evaluar que caso conviene más ejecutar.
dc.description.abstractenglishThis research work is carried out in order to demonstrate the technical and financial feasibility of the construction of a 10 MWp power plant in MaicaoLa Guajira, presenting its dimensioning, calculation, design and engineering, with emphasis on the study of profitability of the project, mainly analyzing the financial factor and the strategy for it to be competitive in the national energy auctions, complying with the requirements demanded by the UPME and XM, from the regulations and the requirements that must be met for the award of the projects. The Capex and Opex of the system will also be calculated and with it the return on investment of the project and the free cash flow whose income requires the estimation of the kWh rate in the energy market to evaluate the profitability of the project by formulating the VPN, ensuring that it is among the rates previously awarded, that is, that it is neither below nor above it. Finally, a hypothetical case is proposed where the generation offered is now at the maximum allowed for participation, that is, below 20 MWp, to compare the results obtained for both projects and evaluate which case should best be executed.
