dc.description.abstractEl objetivo de este texto es analizar cómo el suicidio no es la representación ferviente de la racionalidad del ser humano, sino, por el contrario es la incapacidad de la persona en enfrentar los afectos que disminuyen la potencia de existir, en este caso observaremos como el afecto de la melancolía, es el causante de que las personas tengan ideas inadecuadas de su existencia a tal punto que deciden suicidarse. Para esto, debemos tener en cuenta como Spinoza concibe la existencia del ser humano. Pues como seres infinitos somos imperfectos, por lo cual estamos sujetos a la interacción con otros cuerpos, haciendo que sea más compleja la forma en como tomamos las decisiones que repercuten en nuestra existencia, pues, según Spinoza nos movemos gracias a la interacción de los demás cuerpos con nosotros. Por esta razón decir que un suicidio es racional es imposible, pues estamos siendo movidos por cuerpos externos que de una forma u otra nos dan su propia concepción del mundo en el que vivimos.
dc.description.abstractenglishThe aim of this text is to analyze how suicide is not the fervent representation of the rationality of the human being, but, on the contrary, the inability of the person to face the affections that diminish the potency of existing, In this case we will observe how the affection of melancholy is the cause that people have inappropriate ideas of their existence to such an extent that they decide to commit suicide. For this, we must take into account how Spinoza conceives the existence of the human being. For as infinite beings we are imperfect, so we are subject to interaction with other bodies, making it more complex the way we make the decisions that impact on our existence, so, according to Spinoza we move thanks to the interaction of the other bodies with us. For this reason to say that suicide is rational is impossible, because we are being moved by external bodies that in one way or another give us their own conception of the world in which we live.
