dc.description.abstractEl presente trabajo de grado se realiza bajo la modalidad de práctica social, del programa académico profesional en turismo, teniendo en cuenta que se firmó un convenio entre la Universidad Industrial de Santander sede Socorro y la administración municipal de Pinchote año 2023, en este proyecto se pide implementar la metodología para la definición del potencial de desarrollo turístico territorial, sugerida por el Ministerio de Comercio, Industria y Turismo, el cual se espera sea aplicada en cada uno de los municipios de Colombia, como base para el proceso de planificación turística en los territorios. De esta manera se utilizó esta herramienta para determinar el nivel de desarrollo turístico actual del municipio de Pinchote, Santander; En la aplicación de esta metodología, se inició a partir de la evaluación y el análisis de los diferentes criterios sobre oferta y demanda, conllevando a que esta metodología permitió tomar decisiones soportadas en cada uno de los indicadores que la plataforma pide evaluar, con el propósito de saber cómo se encuentra el municipio, que acciones y que estrategias se deben implementar para orientar la planificación turística, el desarrollo sostenible y la gestión local del turismo en el municipio, consignando estas necesidades en un plan de acción turístico, siendo un paso importante para el desarrollo competitivo del municipio de Pinchote, Santander. Con este diagnóstico el gobierno nacional y departamental podrá apoyar al municipio, realizando inversiones de mayor impacto, que respondan de forma real a las necesidades del municipio y las metas sectoriales planteadas como resultados de esta importante metodología.
dc.description.abstractenglishThis degree work is carried out under the modality of social practice, of the professional academic program in tourism, taking into account that an agreement was signed between the Industrial University of Santander, Socorro headquarters, and the municipal administration of Pinchote in 2023, in this project calls for implementing the methodology for defining the potential for territorial tourism development, suggested by the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism, which is expected to be applied in each of the municipalities of Colombia, as a basis for the tourism planning process in the territories. In this way, this tool was used to determine the current level of tourism development in the municipality of Pinchote, Santander; In the application of this methodology, it began from the evaluation and analysis of the different criteria on supply and demand, leading to this methodology allowing decisions to be made based on each of the indicators that the platform asks to evaluate, with the purpose to know how the municipality is, what actions and what strategies should be implemented to guide tourism planning, sustainable development and local management of tourism in the municipality, recording these needs in a tourism action plan, being an important step to the competitive development of the municipality of Pinchote, Santander. With this diagnosis, the national and departmental government will be able to support the municipality, making investments with greater impact, which truly respond to the needs of the municipality and the sectoral goals set as results of this important methodology.
