dc.description.abstractLa finalidad de este documento de trabajo de grado es llegar a aportar en el mejoramiento de los pedidos despachados que genera la empresa MERCADO Y PLAZA S.A.S. a partir del análisis y puesta en marcha de propuestas en cada uno de los procesos involucrados previo a la entrega al cliente final. En primera instancia, se realizó un diagnóstico para revisar el estado actual de los procesos de recepción de mercancía, almacenamiento, alistamiento, despachos y entregas final a partir de las entrevistas con el personal involucrado en cada área, datos recopilados por el autor del proyecto, datos suministrados por la misma empresa y aplicación de herramientas diagnósticas que permitieron identificar las oportunidades de mejora para empezar a trabajar en ellas. A partir de esta valoración inicial, se diseñaron y socializaron unas propuestas de mejora a los directivos y personal encargado de cada área con el fin de ejecutarlas para aportar a la solución de los problemas encontrados en el diagnóstico, aquí se hizo uso de herramientas ofimáticas para el control de procesos, indicadores y nuevas configuraciones en la bodega a partir de lo que ya estaba establecido. Todas las propuestas fueron organizadas e implementadas a partir de un plan de trabajo que permitió durante su ejecución permear alternativas de mejora en los procesos, en la productividad de los colaboradores y finalmente en la misma satisfacción del cliente.
dc.description.abstractenglishThe purpose of this degree project document is to contribute to the improvement of dispatched orders generated by MERCADO Y PLAZA S.A.S. from the analysis to the implementation of proposals in all processes involved prior to delivery to the final customer. At the beginning of the process, a diagnosis was made to review the status of the processes of receiving merchandise, storage, picking, dispatches, and final deliveries based on interviews with the staff involved in each area. Other elements like data compiled by the author of the project, data provided by the same company and diagnostic tools allowed the company to identify improvement opportunities to start working on them. Based on this initial assessment, proposals for improvement were designed and shared with the managers and personnel in charge of each area to execute them to contribute to the solution of the problems found in the diagnosis. In this step, office automation tools were used to control processes, indicators, and new configurations in the warehouse based on what was already established. All the proposals were organized and implemented based on a work plan that allowed, during its execution, to permeate improvement alternatives in the processes, in the productivity of the collaborators, and finally in the same customer satisfaction.
