dc.description.abstractEste proyecto de creación artística se centró en componer y producir la música incidental para la obra cualitativo en cuatro etapas. En la primera parte, hubo un componente investigativo, donde se utilizó la técnica primordial de la etnografía denominada entrevista a expertos, y con esto se hizo una revisión documental de lo que hasta la fecha se había hecho sobre música incidental en Santander; esto alimentó el trabajo compositivo, ya que contribuyó a la obtención de parámetros, características, estilos, técnicas y herramientas compositivas usadas por parte de figuras relevantes en música incidental de la región y que de cierta manera enriquecieron el trabajo creativo musical para la obra teatral. En la segunda sección se realizaron talleres musicales para los actores que tenían participación musical durante la obra, con el fin de asegurar que la noche del estreno hubiese una mejor interpretación por parte de cada uno de ellos. Para la composición de la música en general de toda la obra, considerada la tercera etapa de desarrollo de este trabajo de grado, fue necesario además de lo aprendido con las entrevistas, indagar sobre el estilo, leer el guion, hablar con el director general y con los actores, asistir a los ensayos de la misma y grabar todos los cuadros, para ver las diferentes escenas cuantas veces fuera necesario a la hora de imaginar música que las acompañara. Como última parte estuvo la producción de toda la música, momento que hubo investigación sobre las diferentes librerías sonoras. A manera de conclusión, cabe mencionar que el estilo de la obra, el guion, el director general, los actores, la imaginación de los compositores y los saberes musicales, son factores importantes a tener presente a la hora de componer música incidental.
dc.description.abstractenglishThis project of artistic creation focused on composing and producing incidental music for the theater production called "THE FARCE OF THE PAPER DOLLS", and was developed with a qualitative approach in four stages. In the first part, there was a research component, where the primary ethnography technique called expert interview was used, and with this a documentary review was made of what had been done to date on incidental music in Santander; this fueled the compositional work, since it contributed to the obtaining of parameters, characteristics, styles, techniques and compositional tools used by relevant figures in incidental music of the region and that in a certain way enriched the musical creative work for the theater production. In the second section, musical workshops were held for the actors who had musical participation during the play, in order to ensure that on the night of the premiere there was a better interpretation by each one of them. For the composition of the music in general of the whole piece, considered the third stage of development of this work of degree, it was necessary in addition to what was learned with the interviews, inquire about the style, read the script, talk with the general director and with the actors, attend the rehearsals of the same one and record all the pictures, to see the different scenes whenever it was necessary at the time of imagining music that accompanied them. The last part was the production of all the music, moment that there was research about the different sound libraries. By way of conclusion, it is worth mentioning that the style of the work, the script, the general director, the actors, the imagination of the composers and the musical knowledge are important factors to keep in mind when composing incidental music.
