dc.description.abstractLa realización del análisis de la composición florística y estructural de relictos boscosos ubicado en la finca pantano Hondo del municipio del San Miguel, Santander, Colombia tiene como principal objetivo la evaluación del componente biótico y abiótico relacionado con el bosque de roble. Para la evaluación de las características florísticas del bosque se realizó un inventario forestal con un muestreo aleatorio simple recolectando la información de los individuos encontrados en las categorías de fustal, latizal y brinzal. En cada categoría se tomaron datos como diámetro, altura y especie. Dentro de las parcelas muestreadas se reportaron 15 familias de las cuales la más representativa para las categorías de fustal y latizales es la Fagaceae con la mayoría de individuos de la especie de Quercus humboldtii Bonpl. El brinzal está conformado por la mayoría de especies arbustales. La evaluación del componente abiótico (suelo, agua y clima) se realizó mediante la toma de muestras, análisis de información secundaria y generación de mapas. El componente fauna se evaluó ubicando puntos estratégicos de monitoreo para la observación de aves y el conteo de especies de mamíferos y reptiles. Para el caso de las aves se registraron 10 familias y 13 especies donde la familia más representativa es Trochilidae que comprende las especies de los colibrís y para clase de mamíferos la familia de mayor importancia fue la Sciuridae que representa la especie de ardillas.
dc.description.abstractenglishThe analysis done on the floristic and structural composition of forest relics located in the farm: ¨Pantano Hondo¨ in the town of San Miguel, Santander, Colombia, has as the main objective the evaluation of the biotic and abiotic component related to the oak forest. For the evaluation of the floristic characteristics of the forest, a forest inventory was carried out with a simple random sampling, collecting the information of the individuals found in the categories of fustal, latizal and brinzal trees. In each category, data such as diameter, height and species were taken. Within the sampled plots there were 15 families reported of which the most representative for the categories of fustal and latizales is the Fagaceae with the majority of individuals of the species of Quercus humboldtii Bonpl. The brinzal tree is conformed by the majority of shrub species. The evaluation of the abiotic component (soil, water and climate) was done by sampling, analysis of secondary information and generation of maps. The fauna component was evaluated by placing strategic monitoring points for bird watching and counting species of mammals and reptiles. For the case of the birds, 10 families and 13 species were registered, where the most representative family is the Trochilidae, which includes hummingbird species and for mammal types the most important family was the Sciuridae that represents the species of squirrels.
