dc.description.abstractDentro de los procesos de la administración de las obras civiles y de la planificación de los proyectos de construcción se tiene como una de las guías bases la gestión del cronograma y su modelo de programación de obra, la cual permite establecer para cada una de las actividades y fases del proceso constructivo las duraciones de ejecución y las fechas de inicio y finalización dentro de un calendario de trabajo las cuales se deben llegar a cumplir para lograr entregar las obras dentro del plazo legal establecido en las cláusulas contractuales. dc.description.abstractenglishWithin the processes of the administration of civil works and the planning of construction projects, the management of the schedule and its model of work programming is regarded as one of the basis, which allows to monitor and control each of the activities and phases of the construction process, the duration of execution and the start and end dates within a work schedule which must be met in order to deliver the works within the legal term established in the contractual clauses. This degree project is based on the quantitative methodology of the case study, which starts from the experience of a real work to document how the timeline was managed, the EDT was planned, the programming model was developed, monitored, the programming was updated, the results were analyzed, graphic reports were generated with productivity indicators and thus diagnose under the guidance of the methodologies and techniques on which the management of construction projects is currently supported, failures that affect this type of work and what opportunities of improvement can be implemented by a professional specialist in construction management based on the PMBOK guide to make more formal programming models, technical analysis methods, obtain greater assertiveness and credibility in
