dc.description.abstractEsta investigación analiza la forma en que el cortometraje La langosta azul (1954) enuncia un mundo posible que semiotiza factores culturales que perviven en el universo caribeño colombiano. Para ello, se efectúa un estudio de caso a partir de la revisión documental del texto fílmico en cues-tión, empleando elementos metodológicos de la semiótica como constructo teórico y procedimental en el análisis; con esto, se propicia una pesquisa de corte cualitativo-interpretativo. Entre los cons-tructos de base, se consideran avances de la semiótica de las prácticas y la cultura, así como algu-nos elementos sociosemióticos, antropológicos, sociológicos y del modo de organización morfoló-gico y sintáctico del enunciado visual. Así, se examina la configuración intrínseca del cortometraje como un todo clausurado y semisimbólico, pero también elementos estratégicos y prácticos, consti-tuyentes del ethos que se relaciona con la forma o el estilo de vida que converge en el objeto se-miótico, para i) aportar a la comprensión del acervo cultural del Caribe colombiano desde el análi-sis de un texto de antaño, cuya revalorización es reciente e importante, y ii) reconocer, desde este hito cinematográfico, cómo se estructuran sistemas de valores que se condensan en algunas repre-sentaciones socioculturales e identitarias propias de una comunidad, a modo de persuasión.
dc.description.abstractenglishThis research analyzes the way in which the short film La langosta azul (1954) enunciates a possi-ble world that semiotizes cultural factors of the Colombian Caribbean universe. To do this, a case study is carried out based on the documentary review of the film text, using methodological ele-ments of semiotics as a theoretical and procedural construct in the analysis, in a qualitative-interpretive research. Among the basic constructs, advances in the semiotics of practices and cul-ture are considered, as well as socio-semiotic, anthropological and sociological elements, and con-sidering too the morphological and syntactic organization of the visual statement. Thus, the intrinsic configuration of the short film is examined as a semisimbolic closed object, but also strategic and practical elements, constituents of the ethos that is related to the form or style of living that con-verges in the semiotic object, to i) contribute to the understanding of the cultural heritage of the Colombian Caribbean from the analysis of a text from yesteryear, whose revaluation is recent and important, and ii) recognize, from this cinematographic milestone, how value systems are structured and condensed in some sociocultural and identity representations typical of a community as it is enunciated by the semiotic principle of persuasion.
