dc.description.abstract | En la actualidad se han desarrollado técnicas de monitoreo estructural con el propósito de proveer información que permita tener un control de la seguridad, la integridad y funcionamiento de los puentes. Es un tema de gran importancia para la gestión eficiente de tiempo en inspecciones y revisiones, así como la reducción de costos, brindando una mayor seguridad para los usuarios. por el conocimiento del comportamiento estructural que garantice estructuras en buenas condiciones para el tránsito vehicular y la seguridad vial. Esta investigación presenta una revisión general del estado del arte sobre algunos métodos de monitoreo de la salud estructural en puentes con particular énfasis en los sensores de fibra óptica FBG (Fiber Bragg Grating), realizando un acercamiento teórico para su comprensión, conocer las aplicaciones y diferentes experiencias en el mundo en puentes que han sido monitoreados con sensores de fibra óptica. Entender sobre la caracterización de las diferentes señales emitidas y como se relacionan estas con los parámetros a inspeccionar, tales como la deformación, temperatura y demás fenómenos físicos que afecten la salud estructural de los puentes. dc.description.abstractenglish | At present, structural monitoring techniques have been developed with the purpose of providing information that allows to have a control of the safety, integrity and operation of the bridges. It is a topic of great importance for the efficient management of time in inspections and reviews, as well as the reduction of costs, providing greater security for users. for the knowledge of the structural behavior that guarantees structures in good conditions for vehicular traffic and road safety. This research presents a general review of the state of the art on some methods of structural health monitoring in bridges with particular emphasis on FBG fiber optic sensors (Fiber Bragg Grating), making a theoretical approach to their understanding, knowing the applications and different experiences in the world in bridges that have been monitored with fiber optic sensors. Understand the characterization of the different emitted signals and how they relate to the parameters to be inspected, such as deformation, temperature and other physical phenomena that affect the structural health of the bridges.
