dc.description.abstractEste proyecto de investigación se enfoca en la actividad de la meliponicultura que es la cría y manejo de abejas sin aguijón, corresponde a uno de los muchos grupos de abejas nativas de América. La meliponicultura se caracteriza por ser una actividad económicamente viable, muy sencilla y de fácil implementación y mantenimiento dentro de los sistemas de producción campesinos o urbanos. En el municipio de El Socorro existe un proyecto denominado Polinizando Saberes que tiene como objetivo la regeneración ambiental a través del cuidado y preservación de las abejas melíponas bajo tres enfoques: ambiental, pedagógico y de emprendimiento; en este sentido las veredas cafeteras del municipio: Morros, Buenavista, Alto de Chochos, Alto de Reinas y Bosque tienen un potencial de producción de miel derivada de estas abejas, generando la oportunidad de diseñar una ruta turística de la miel. Para la elaboración de esta ruta turística se realizó un diagnóstico de los recursos y potencialidades que en este sentido tienen las familias focalizadas para hacer parte de esta propuesta de integración turística basada en la conservación de los polinizadores, la producción de miel y el turismo comunitario a través de un análisis DOFA como línea base para la construcción de la ruta de la miel en el municipio de El Socorro. Como principal resultado se quiere aprovechar el proyecto Polinizando Saberes el cual integra las familias de las veredas mencionadas; específicamente el Colegio Alberto Santos Buitrago y tres fincas que están dispuestas a participar en la realización de la ruta mencionada anteriormente contribuyendo con el mejoramiento de la calidad de vida y aportando al logro de los objetivos de desarrollo sostenible (2. Hambre cero; 8. Trabajo decente y crecimiento económico; 10. Reducción de las desigualdades) usando el turismo como una fuente de ingresos, siendo sostenible y amigable con el medio ambiente.
dc.description.abstractenglishThis research project focuses on the activity of meliponiculture, which is the breeding and management of stingless bees, one of the many groups of native bees in America. Meliponiculture is characterized by being an economically viable activity, very simple and easy to implement and maintain within peasant or urban production systems. In the municipality of El Socorro there is a project called Pollinating Knowledge that aims to regenerate the environment through the care and appearance of honeybees under three approaches: environmental, pedagogical and entrepreneurial; In this sense, the coffee-producing villages of the municipality: Morros, Buenavista, Alto de Chochos, Alto de Reinas and Bosque have the potential to produce honey derived from these bees, showing the opportunity to design a honey tourist route. For the elaboration of this tourist route, a diagnosis was made of the resources and potential that in this sense the families have focused to be part of this proposal of tourist integration based on the conservation of pollinators, the production of honey and community tourism to through a SWOT analysis as a baseline for the construction of the honey route in the municipality of El Socorro. The main result is to take advantage of the Pollinating Knowledge project, which integrates the families of the mentioned villages; specifically, the Alberto Santos Buitrago School and three farms that are willing to participate in carrying out the route mentioned above, contributing to the improvement of the quality of life and contributing to the achievement of the sustainable development objectives (2. Zero Hunger; 8. Work decent and economic growth, 10. Reduction of inequalities) using tourism as a source of income, being sustainable and friendly to the environment
