dc.description.abstractEl Distrito Minero de Vetas – California (DMVC), ha sido un territorio enfocado a la actividad minera desde el nacimiento de sus pueblos quienes a lo largo de la historia han desempeñado esta actividad de manera tradicional por medio de pequeñas empresas familiares, las cuales buscan crecer y mejorar sus métodos de extracción para llegar a ser empresas sostenibles que aporten al crecimiento de la región y al cuidado del medio ambiente. La presente práctica empresarial centró sus esfuerzos en desarrollar actividades que permitieran apoyar a la empresa minera La Providencia en la toma de decisiones para mejorar el desarrollo de sus actividades en la mina y de esta manera tener un mayor conocimiento y posterior mejor aprovechamiento de sus recursos, para ello se desarrolló un modelamiento geológico – estructural el cual permite una mejor claridad de las estructuras (Fallas y Vetas) y su comportamiento dentro de la mina, de igual manera, se elaboró un modelo de bloques a partir de los análisis químicos realizados a un grupo de muestras tomadas en los túneles de la mina usando los protocolos de QA/QC. Las labores realizadas durante la practica corresponden al levantamiento litológico y estructural del título minero, a la elaboración del modelo geológico – estructural y el modelo de bloques. Insumos que se espera aporten al crecimiento de la empresa, mejorando de esta manera sus planeamientos mineros y permitiendo un mayor aprovechamiento de sus recursos.
dc.description.abstractenglishThe Vetas – California Mining District (VCMD) has been a territory focused on mining activity since the born of its towns, who throughout the history has carried out this activity in a traditional way through small family businesses, which seek to grow and improve their extraction methods to become in sustainable companies that contributes to the growth of the region and to the environment care. This business practice has put its efforts on developing activities that allow supporting to La Providencia mining company, to making of decisions to improve the development of its activities in the mine and in this way have a greater knowledge and subsequent better use of its resources. For these reasons, a geological-structural modeling was developed, which will allow better clarity of the structures (Faults and Veins) and their behavior within the mine. Likewise, a blocks modeling was developed based on the chemical analyzes carried out a group of samples taken in the mine tunnels using QA/QC protocols. The results of this practice correspond to the lithological and structural survey of the mining title, the geological – structural model and blocks model. Inputs that are expected to contribute to the growth of the company, thus improving their mining plans which will lead to greater use of their resources.
