dc.description.abstractA pesar de la crisis económica que actualmente atraviesa el país, el sector de la construcción ha experimentado un constante crecimiento desde hace varios años. La empresa Alexis Vega Ingenieros S.A.S. contribuye al desarrollo de este sector trabajando en la consultoría de importantes proyectos residenciales en la ciudad de Bucaramanga y en otras ciudades del país. Se realizó la práctica empresarial en la empresa Alexis Vega Ingenieros S.A.S sirviendo como apoyo en el área de diseño estructural, realizando actividades como el diseño, despiece y cálculo de cantidades de elementos secundarios de concreto armado como viguetas, losas y escaleras. Además de las actividades de diseño durante la práctica también se realizaron actividades concernientes a la revisión de calidad de los elementos estructurales diseñados por los ingenieros proyectistas de la empresa con el objetivo de asegurar que estos diseños, además de cumplir con las expectativas y necesidades del cliente, cumpliera con todos los requerimientos de las normativas de diseño estructural sismo resistente actualmente vigentes en nuestro país. Un requisito esencial para que la construcción cumpla sus funciones es que no sufra fallas o mal comportamiento debido a su incapacidad para soportar las cargas que sobre ella se imponen. Para finalizar se apoyó en el desarrollo de detalles, cortes, y se realizó la conformación de los planos estructurales en los cuales se organizó los diseños realizados por el equipo de trabajo de la empresa, así mismo se colabor en la generación de reportes y tablas para la conformación de las memorias de cálculo que deben entregarse junto con los diseños. *
dc.description.abstractenglishDespite the current economic crisis that our country is undergoing and the eventual decline of the construction in the allowed areas for building in Bucaramanga and its metropolitan area, it is well known that since few years ago the construction sector has been experimented a constant growth. consulting at important residential projects in Bucaramanga and in other cities of the country. I did an internship in the company helping with structural designing and doing activities such as designing, exploded view and calculation of quantities of secondary elements of reinforced cement such as joists, slabs and stairs. Moreover, during the internship I also did quality tests of the structural elements that the engineers of the company had designed aim to assure that those designs were good enough to satisfy the expectations and needs of clients and with all Colombian current safety requirements (it is an essential requirement if you want that the construction does not suffer problems because of the weight it will have to resist). To conclude the participation in each project, the practitioner also helped with developing details and cuts, he also was in charge of creating structural plans in which he organized the designs developed by the company equip. Moreover, he did reports and tables to create database of calculous that he had to deliver with de designs. *
