dc.description.abstractLa presente investigación tratará de la prostitución femenina en Bucaramanga entre los años de 1960 a 1980. El objetivo principal de la siguiente monografía es construir una imagen histórica sobre el fenómeno social de la prostitución de Bucaramanga. Para ello se realizó un análisis de los expedientes judiciales existentes en el Archivo del palacio de Justicia de Bucaramanga, en los fondos de: Lesiones Personales, Homicidios y Hurto; también nos basaremos en los periódicos locales de la época: Vanguardia Liberal y El Frente; además las Actas y Acuerdos del concejo de Bucaramanga. La estructura se divide en tres capítulos, en el primero le damos una mirada a la estructura de la ciudad de la época, determinando así los espacios geográficos de la prostitución: las Zonas de Tolerancia y los espacios clandestinos donde se ejercía la prostitución de manera prohibida. En el segundo capítulo se tiene como tesis central analizar la vida cotidiana de las prostitutas, mostrando algunas causas y motivos que tenían para vincularse a este oficio, además se trató de determinar la edad y procedencia de estas mujeres; igualmente se analizó la relación de las giene; por último se muestra el ambiente hostil que giró alrededor de este oficio. En el último capítulo, se trata de analizar el rol de las prostitutas ante los delitos de: Lesiones Personales, Homicidio y Hurto, tratando de determinar si fueron víctimas, agresoras o testigos; asimismo se analizó algunos casos donde estas mujeres fueron las agresoras.
dc.description.abstractenglishThis research will try to female prostitution in Bucaramanga between 1960 and 1980. The main objective of the following monograph is to build a historical picture of the social phenomenon of prostitution of Bucaramanga. To do an analysis of court records existing in the Archives of the Palace of Justice in Bucaramanga, in the funds: Personal Injury, Homicide and Theft, also we will build on local newspapers of the time: Vanguardia Liberal and El Frente; also the Proceedings and Decisions of the council of Bucaramanga. The structure is divided into three chapters, the first we take a look at the structure of the city at the time, thus determining the geographical areas of prostitution: Tolerance Zones and underground spaces where prostitution was practiced in a manner prohibited. In the second chapter's central thesis is to analyze the daily life of prostitutes, showing some causes and motives that had to link to this job also sought to determine the age and origin of these women also discussed the relationship of with prostitutes and clients of the brothel owners. We also examined the problems of "white slavery", hygiene, and finally the hostile environment that revolved around this office. In the last chapter attempts to analyze the role of prostitutes to the following crimes: Personal Injury, Homicide and Theft, trying to determine if they were victims, aggressors or witnesses also discussed some cases where these women were the aggressors.
