dc.description.abstractEl presente trabajo contribuye a la descripción de las actividades y tareas de campo correspondientes al establecimiento y remedición de parcelas permanentes monitoreadas por la Corporación COL-TREE y que se encuentran ubicadas en el departamento del Chocó, municipio de Nuquí, Caldas, municipio de Supía y Antioquia, municipios de El Retiro, Caramanta, Támesis y Jardín. También, resalta la importancia de ciertas especies vistas durante el proceso de monitoreo. Se utilizó la metodología del manual de campo para la remedición y establecimiento de parcelas permanentes de monitoreo (PPM) de RAINFOR como base teórica de las actividades y tareas realizadas tanto en el establecimiento como en la remedición de las parcelas. Para el desarrollo de las actividades de campo se utilizaron herramientas forestales como la cinta diamétrica, flexómetro, hipsómetro, brújula, jalones, decámetro, entre otras. Dentro de los resultados obtenidos tenemos el establecimiento de una PPM en la región de los Andes, y la remedición de tres PPM en el Chocó y siete PPM en la región de los Andes. También, se resaltó la importancia de las especies de Quercus humboldtii, Aniba perutilis, Magnolia yarumalensis, Magnolia sambuensis, Dipteryx oleífera y Wettinia kalbreyeri por sus cualidades dentro de la ecología de los bosques del país.
dc.description.abstractenglishThis work contributes to the description of the field activities and tasks corresponding to the establishment and remeasurement of permanent plots monitored by the COL-TREE Corporation and which are located in the department of Chocó, municipality of Nuquí, Caldas, municipality of Supía and Antioquia, municipalities of El Retiro, Caramanta, Támesis and Jardín. Also, it highlights the importance of certain species seen during the monitoring process. The methodology of the field manual for the remeasurement and establishment of permanent monitoring plots (PPM) of RAINFOR was used as a theoretical basis for the activities and tasks carried out both in the establishment and in the remeasurement of the plots. For the development of field activities, forestry tools were used such as the diameter tape, flexometer, hypsometer, compass, poles, decameter, among others. Among the results obtained we have the establishment of a PPM in the Andes region, and the remeasurement of three PPM in Chocó and seven PPM in the Andes region. Also, the importance of the species of Quercus humboldtii, Aniba perutilis, Magnolia yarumalensis, Magnolia sambuensis, Dipteryx oleifera and Wettinia kalbreyeri was highlighted for their qualities within the ecology of the country's forests.
