dc.description.abstract | Los sistemas de distribución constantemente son afectados por fallas, que interrumpen la prestación del servicio de energía eléctrica a los usuarios finales, algunas de estas fallas son propias del sistema, por la ausencia de inversiones de los distribuidores, en la reposición de activos eléctricos obsoletos, otras se deben a perturbaciones externas, como cortocircuitos ocasionados por contacto con árboles o animales, también por fenómenos naturales o atentados terroristas. dc.description.abstractenglish | Distribution systems are constantly affected by failures, which interrupt the electric power service to end users, some of these failures are characteristic of the system, due to the absence of investments, in order to replace obsolete electrical assets. Others are due to external disturbances, such as short circuits caused by contact with trees or animals, as well as by natural fame or terrorist attacks. In this sense, the entities responsible for the regulation of public services constantly seek to establish minimum standards, so that energy distributors offer an economical, secure and reliable service. Many authors recognize that a very important factor in reducing interruption times is the timely location of the place where the fault originated. For this reason, the main objective of this monograph project is to identify some of the most recent fault location methods that can serve as a tool for energy distributors, to offer a better continuity service to their users, reducing the interruption times, and reaching the minimum standards required by the energy regulation commission. According to the above, this work in the first chapters addresses the basic concepts of service reliability according to the standards required by the commission of energy regulation, then the types of failures present in a distribution system are identified, to pass to the recognition of some methods of locating faults in recent literature and finally, a comparison and discussion of the studied methods is presented | |
