dc.description.abstractenglish | Imaging is a very useful diagnostic support tool in the field of medicine, in particular, Computed Tomography offered the possibility of exploring the human body in a non-invasive way, but the process of acquiring them makes them susceptible to the noise caused by multiple factors, in addition to the composition of various elements and tissues making their identification difficult, therefore it is necessary to segment the images to isolate the different components, but this process is usually an exhaustive process. The automation of tasks, such as the identification of patterns, is transversal to all areas of knowledge, medicine is no stranger to it. The purpose of this degree work is to apply methods based on deep learning techniques to automate the segmentation process of computed tomography images of the abdominal area, given that traditional methods are highly dependent on human intervention. Mainly two types of architectures were used on this work, the U-Net and the Seg-Net. Where the Dice coefficient for the training of the implemented U-Net network is 97 % and 87 % in training and validation respectively. For the implemented Seg-Net network, the Dice coefficient was 87 % and 82 % in training and validation, respectively. Allowing to have segmented data for the construction of three-dimensional models.
