dc.description.abstractLas condiciones que enfrentan las sociedades son cada vez son más complejas, los efectos del fenómeno de la corrupción afectan de manera directa en el crecimiento económico de un país que reduce la calidad y efectividad de las políticas públicas que realiza el Estado, distorsiona el diseño y la aplicación de la regulación, afectando la estabilidad tanto económica y social de una sociedad. Un sistema corrupto, donde las instituciones y la política constituyen el marco donde se desenvuelve la lucha entre los que buscan el beneficio propio y los que generan bienestar común. En este sentido, el objetivo de la presente investigación es analizar e identificar el efecto del fenómeno de la corrupción en Colombia para determinar su impacto en el crecimiento económico entre los años 1995 y 2017. La metodología utilizada es la estimación de un modelo de regresión lineal múltiple, que incluyen las variables que se consideran más representativas en el crecimiento económico y el Índice de Percepción de Corrupción como principal variable. La información analizada fue tomada del Departamento Administrativo Nacional de Estadística (DANE) y de la agencia de Transparencia Internacional, con una muestra de veintidós observaciones se encontró que existe una correlación positiva entre las variables, es decir, a una mejora en el Índice de Percepción de Corrupción las tasas del crecimiento económico se verán afectadas positivamente, evidenciando que la corrupción es un fenómeno que se debe estudiar. *
dc.description.abstractenglishThe conditions faced by societies are increasingly complex, the effects of the phenomenon of corruption directly affect the economic growth of a country that reduces the quality and effectiveness of public policies carried out by the State, distorts the design and the application of regulation, affecting the economic and social stability of a society. A corrupt system, where institutions and politics constitute the framework where the struggle unfolds between those who seek their own benefit and those who generate common welfare. In this sense, the objective of this research is to analyze and identify the effect of the phenomenon of corruption in Colombia to determine its impact on economic growth between 1995 and 2017. The methodology used is the estimation of a linear regression model. multiple, which include the variables that are considered most representative in economic growth and the Corruption Perception Index as the main variable. The information analyzed was taken from the National Administrative Department of Statistics (DANE) and the agency of Transparency International, with a sample of twenty-two observations it was found that there is a positive correlation between the variables, that is, an improvement in the Perception Index Corruption rates of economic growth will be positively affected, showing that corruption is a phenomenon that must be studied. *
