dc.description.abstractLa siguiente monografía desarrolla un esquema integral de protecciones eléctricas para la microrred experimental del Laboratorio de Integración Energética de la Universidad Industrial de Santander (UIS), ubicada en el Parque Tecnológico de Guatiguará. Esta microrred, utilizada con fines investigativos, replica condiciones reales de operación de sistemas de distribución y permite estudiar la interacción entre generación distribuida, almacenamiento de energía y cargas. Actualmente, el laboratorio no cuenta con un sistema de protecciones, lo que representa una limitación en términos de seguridad operativa. El trabajo contempla el ajuste y coordinación de protecciones, así como la simulación y validación del esquema propuesto mediante herramientas de software especializado como DIgSILENT PowerFactory. Los resultados permitirán mejorar la confiabilidad del sistema, proteger los equipos ante fallas y brindar una base sólida para investigaciones futuras en el campo de las microrredes.
dc.description.abstractenglishThis monograph develops a comprehensive electrical protection scheme for the experimental microgrid of the Energy Integration Laboratory at the Universidad Industrial de Santander (UIS), located in the Guatiguará Technology Park. This microgrid, used for research purposes, replicates real operating conditions of distribution systems and allows for the study of the interaction between distributed generation, energy storage, and loads. Currently, the laboratory lacks a protection system, which poses a limitation in terms of operational safety. The work includes the setting and coordination of protections, as well as the simulation and validation of the proposed scheme using specialized software tools such as DIgSILENT PowerFactory. The results aim to improve system reliability, protect equipment in the event of faults, and provide a solid foundation for future research in the field of microgrids.
