dc.description.abstract	El estudio para implementar la señalización vial en la zona urbana del Municipio de Tipacoque- Boyacá tiene por objetivo buscar los agentes que afectan la movilidad peatonal y vehicular debido a la falta de señalización que involucran directamente a la comunidad. Este proyecto se desarrolló iniciando con un inventario del estado actual de los elementos trasversales de la vía, como son andenes, calzadas y bermas, así mismo, la señalización existente, evidenciando que la mayoría de estos, tiene dimensiones reducidas y regular estado de infraestructura lo cual afecta la circulación de peatones por la vía destinada para ellos, esto hace que la señalización juegue un papel importante en la toma de decisiones de los transeúntes. Así mismo, se determinaron dos puntos críticos por medio de inspección visual, teniendo en cuenta los altos flujos de peatones y vehículos. Realizando aforos en un día atípico y típico, se encontraron resultados donde se corrobora la necesidad de la señalización vial, por lo tanto, se dieron recomendaciones para cada tramo de calzada identificando sus requerimientos según las normas vigentes como el Manual de Diseño Geométrico de Carretera, Manual de Señalización Vial, el Decreto 789 de 2010 y 1538 de 2005.
dc.description.abstractenglish	The study to implement road signs in the urban area of the Municipality of Tipacoque- Boyacá aims to find the agents that affect pedestrian and vehicular mobility due to the lack of signs that directly involve the community. This project was developed starting with an inventory of the current state of the transverse elements of the road, such as platforms, roadways and berms, as well as the existing signage, showing that most of these elements have reduced dimensions and a regular state of infrastructure. which affects the circulation of pedestrians on the road intended for them, this makes the signaling play an important role in the decision-making of passers-by. Likewise, two critical points were determined through visual inspection, taking into account the high flows of pedestrians and vehicles. Performing gauging on an atypical and typical day, results were found where the need for road signage is corroborated, therefore, recommendations were given for each section of road, identifying its requirements according to current regulations such as the Manual de Diseño Geométrico de Carretera, Manual de Señalización Vial, the Decreto 789 de 2010 and 1538 de 2005.
