dc.description.abstractEstudio Descriptivo; Morfología humana. El patrón morfológico usual de las estructuras vasculares del encéfalo y la distribución de las arterias cerebrales anterior, media y posterior con sus respectivas ramificaciones han sido estudiados en diferentes grupos poblacionales, así como las variaciones anatómicas encontradas relacionadas con el origen, longitud, diámetro y variables cualitativas. Aunque dichos estudios enriquecen el conocimiento sobre la vascularización del encéfalo y la distribución del aporte sanguíneo de las arterias cerebrales anterior, media y posterior, han sido realizados fuera de nuestro contexto poblacional, por lo cual existe una escasa información en Colombia sobre estudios detallados de su expresión morfológica y biométrica. El objetivo general fue determinar las características anatómicas y morfométricas de las arterias cerebrales anterior, media y posterior y de sus ramas, de los encéfalos de la colección de morfología de la Universidad Industrial de Santander. Se estudiaron 162 hemisferios cerebrales de la colección de morfología de la Universidad Industrial de Santander. La compresión de las diversas expresiones de la arterias cerebrales especialmente en lo relacionado con los datos biométricos de sus orígenes, y territorios irrigados, contrastados de manera marginal en estudios previos permitirán la optimización de las intervenciones quirúrgicas con el fin de prevenir y/o reducir los déficits y daños neurológicos postoperatorios, originados por las lesiones de estas arterias o de sus ramas.
dc.description.abstractenglishDescriptive Study; Human morphology. The usual morphological pattern of the vascular structures in the brain and the distribution of the anterior, middle and posterior cerebral arteries with their respective branches have been studied in different population groups, as well as the anatomical variations found related to the origin, length, diameter and variables. qualitative. Although these studies enrich the knowledge about the vascularization of the brain and the distribution of the blood supply of the anterior, middle and posterior cerebral arteries, they have been carried out outside of our population context, for which there is little information in Colombia on detailed expression studies morphological and biometric. The general objective was to determine the anatomical and morphometric characteristics of the anterior, middle and posterior cerebral arteries and their branches, of the brains from the collection of the morphology lab of the Industrial University of Santander. 162 cerebral hemispheres from the morphology collection of the Industrial University of Santander were studied. The compression of the various expressions of the cerebral arteries, especially in relation to the biometric data of their origins, and irrigated territories, marginally contrasted in previous studies, will allow the optimization of surgical interventions in order to prevent and / or reduce the Postoperative neurological deficit and damage, caused by injuries to these arteries or their branches.
