Sistema iot para monitoreo de actividad cardiaca con variabilidad de frecuencia para el diagnóstico de enfermedades cardiovasculares

dc.description.abstract | Las enfermedades cardiovasculares han sido uno de los campos de la medicina en los que más se ha avanzado; hoy en día los pronósticos han cambiado y muchos pacientes consiguen recuperarse y vivir con normalidad. Durante los últimos años, los avances sin precedentes logrados en los campos de la biología, la electrónica y la genética humana han permitido desarrollar un nuevo conjunto de instrumentos para proteger y mejorar la salud humana. En el mundo y acorde a las nuevas tecnologías en Informática y comunicación aplicadas a la medicina, diseñadas para plantear soluciones a problemáticas de la salud, se busca trabajar en diversas estrategias que beneficien específicamente el campo de la medicina, buscando sistemas adecuados, aplicables, sostenibles económicamente, con excelentes resultados, teniendo en cuenta la realidad social, económica y capacidad tecnológica. Por esta razón, este proyecto de investigación implementó un sistema de monitoreo de señal cardiaca de bajo costo, conformado por la placa de adquisición de la señal ECG AD8232, el microcontrolador ESP32 y una plataforma IoT para enviar los datos a la nube. Para la clasificación de arritmias se implementaron tres modelos de aprendizaje automático, los cuales fueron Regresión Logística, Maquinas de soporte vectorial y una red neuronal Perceptrón Multicapa, los cuales permitieron identificar tres tipos de diagnósticos: bradicardia, taquicardia y ritmo normal, con precisiones de hasta un 98.53 %. El entrenamiento de los modelos se hizo en el entorno gratuito Google Colaboratory. dc.description.abstractenglish | Cardiovascular diseases have been one of the fields of medicine in which the most progress has been made; nowadays the prognoses have changed and many patients manage to recover and live normally. During the past few years, unprecedented advances in the fields of biology, electronics and human genetics have led to the development of a new set of instruments to protect and improve human health. In the world and according to the new technologies in Informatics and communication applied to medicine, designed to propose solutions to health problems, it seeks to work on various strategies that specifically benefit the field of medicine, seeking appropriate, applicable, sustainable systems economically, with excellent results, taking into account the social and economic reality and technological capacity. For this reason, this research project implemented a lowcost cardiac signal monitoring system, made up of the AD8232 ECG signal acquisition board, the ESP32 microcontroller and an IOT platform to send the data to the cloud. For the classification of arrhythmias, three automatic learning models were implemented, which were Logistic Regression, Vector Support Machines and a Multilayer Perceptron neural network, which allowed the identification of three types of diagnoses: bradycardia, tachycardia and normal rhythm, with precisions of up to 98.53%.
