dc.description.abstractLa presente investigación intenta contribuir al estudio de la criminalidad, el delito y su relación con la estructura social en la ciudad de Bucaramanga. En un primer momento estudia la causalidad del delito y su aplicación penal en la ciudad durante el periodo comprendido entre 1930 a 1957, periodo en el cual tienen lugar hechos coyunturales que marcaron la historia social y política de Colombia. Desde esta perspectiva, se establece la incidencia del bipartidismo y de la violencia generada por éste, en los índices de criminalidad para la ciudad de Bucaramanga en el mencionado periodo de estudio, además de aquellos delitos suscitados por otros factores de tipo social como aquellos que conforman la denominada mala vidafl. Se realizó un estudio sobre los crímenes cometidos contra la persona, homicidios y lesiones personales, a través del análisis detallado de los expedientes judiciales, existente en el Fondo de Juicios Criminales del Archivo Judicial Superior del Circuito de Bucaramanga. La intención es establecer las pautas de la violencia interpersonal en la sociedad de aquella época. Por ello para cada delito se determinaron las características de los agresores, de las víctimas y los motivos que tuvieron para infringir la ley y cometer tales hechos de violencia. También se estudiaron las pautas espaciales y temporales de los crímenes, así como las armas utilizadas. Además, se hizo énfasis en los tipos de penas con las que se castigaron dichos delitos y las consideraciones que se tuvieron en cuenta al establecerlas o imponerlas.
dc.description.abstractenglishThe present investigation tries to contribute to the study of the crime rate, the crime and its relationship with the social structure in the city of Bucaramanga. In a first moment it studies the causality of the crime and their penal application in the city during the period between 1930 to 1957, period in which they take made place of the conjunctural situation that marked the social and political history of Colombia. From this perspective, the incidence of the bipartisanism settles down and of the violence generated by this, in the indexes of criminality for the city of Bucaramanga in the mentioned period of study, besides those crimes raised by other factors of social type as those that conform the denominated "bad life." It was carried out a study on the crimes made against the person, homicides and personal lesions, through the detailed analysis of the judicial files, existent in the Fund of Criminal Trials of the File Judicial Superior of the Circuit of Bucaramanga. The intention is to establish the rules of the interpersonal violence in the society of that time. For that reason stops each crime the characteristics of the aggressors they were determined, of the victims and the reasons that had to infringe the law and to make such facts of violence. The space rules and storms of the crimes were also studied, as well as the used weapons. Also, emphasis was made in the types of hardships with those that this crimes and the considerations were punished that were kept in mind when establishing them or to impose them.
