dc.description.abstractUna de las principales causas del problema de movilidad es el acelerado aumento de los volúmenes vehiculares, tanto de automóviles como de motocicletas. Bucaramanga es una ciudad que mantiene altos volúmenes de tráfico en su red vial urbana, como toda ciudad conserva los esquemas de movilidad que se manejan en las grandes ciudades del mundo entre ellos, vías locales, colectoras y arterias, una de las más importantes y que maneja un gran porcentaje de flujo vehicular es la calle 56, y como consecuencia de esto, se ha venido enfrentando constantemente a caos vehicular; entre intersecciones viales que se cruzan con esta calle. En este proyecto se examinarán las causas y consecuencias de los soluciones de bajo costo que ayuden a mejorar los embotellamientos que se presentan en esta trascendental vía del área Metropolitana. Por otro lado, el mocolapsados, esto se debe a que la tasa de flujo vehicular (llegadas) es mayor que la tasa de capacidad vehicular (salidas), utilizando como herramienta de análisis la toma de datos mediante aforos en puntos específicos durante periodos de treinta minutos en horas pico o de mayor movilidad.
dc.description.abstractenglishOne of the main causes of the problem of mobility is the accelerated increase in vehicle volumes, both cars and motorcycles. Bucaramanga is a city that maintains high volumes of traffic in its urban road network, as every city preserves the mobility schemes that are handled in the great cities of the world including, local roads, collectors and arteries, one of the most important and that manages a great percentage of vehicular flow is the 56th street, and as a consequence of this, has been constantly facing vehicular chaos; among its most notorious problems are the "bottlenecks" that influence the congestion of some of the road intersections that cross this street. This project will examine the causes and consequences of "bottlenecks", identifying, recording and analyzing the different critical points, in order to provide low-cost solutions that help to improve bottlenecks that occur in this transcendental pathway of Metropolitan area. On the other hand, the theoretical model showed that the "bottlenecks" of the system were collapsed, this is due to the fact that the vehicle flow rate (arrivals) is greater than the vehicle capacity rate (departures), using as an analysis tool the data collection through gauging at specific points during periods of thirty minutes during peak hours or with greater mobility.
