dc.description.abstractEl presente trabajo tiene como objetivo desarrollar un estudio de factibilidad para la creación de un operador turístico en el municipio de Confines, departamento de Santander, Colombia. Se destaca la importancia de este estudio en términos del impacto en la economía local, generación de empleo y promoción de la cultura colombiana. A partir de un estudio del mercado turístico local, se concluye que Confines posee un atractivo significativo gracias a sus recursos naturales y culturales, donde el mercado objetivo respondió favorablemente a la propuesta de valor que incluye experiencias turísticas auténticas y atractivas. Además, se observa un crecimiento sostenido en el turismo en la zona, lo que indica una demanda creciente de servicios turísticos. Un estudio de tipo técnico permite concluir que el municipio cuenta con proveedores locales de transporte, alojamiento, alimentación y otros servicios turísticos. Esto facilita la formación de alianzas estratégicas y el abastecimiento de los recursos necesarios para ofrecer una experiencia de calidad a los turistas. La ubicación estratégica del municipio, cercano a otros destinos turísticos populares en Santander, también aumenta las oportunidades de colaboración y la diversificación de servicios turísticos. Por otra parte, el estudio financiero, advierte la necesidad de una evaluación detallada de la capacidad de financiamiento. Si bien existen oportunidades a través de préstamos bancarios, es crucial analizar los costos asociados con la adquisición de tecnología y equipos, la contratación de talento humano especializado y la promoción del negocio. Además, se debe considerar la estacionalidad del turismo en la región y desarrollar estrategias que respondan a esta situación. En conclusión, los resultados de los estudios de mercado, técnico, financiero y administrativo confirman que el municipio de Confines, Santander, presenta un potencial significativo para la creación de un operador turístico, con la propuesta de valor y condiciones analizadas.
dc.description.abstractenglishThe purpose of this study is to develop a feasibility analysis for the establishment of a touristic operator in the municipality of Confines, department of Santander, Colombia. The importance of this study is underscored in terms of its impact on the local economy, job creation, and promotion of Colombian culture. Based on an assessment of the local tourism market, it is concluded that Confines possesses significant appeal due to its natural and cultural resources, where the target market responded positively to the value proposition that includes authentic and attractive touristic experiences. Furthermore, there is a sustained growth in tourism in the area, indicating an increasing demand for tourism services. A technical study allows us to conclude that the municipality has local providers of transportation, accommodation, food, and other tourism-related services. This facilitates the formation of strategic alliances and the procurement of necessary resources to provide a high-quality experience to touristic. The strategic location of the municipality, close to other popular touristic destinations in Santander, also enhances opportunities for collaboration and the diversification of tourism services. On the other hand, the financial study high lights the need for a detailed evaluation of financing capacity. While opportunities through bank loans exist, it is crucial to analyze the costs associated with acquiring technology and equipment, hiring specialized personnel, and promoting the business. Additionally, the seasonality of tourism in the region must be taken into account, and strategies should be developed to address this situation. In conclusion, the results of the market, technical, financial, and administrative studies confirm that the municipality of Confines, Santander, presents significant potential for the creation of a touristic operator, considering the analyzed value proposition and conditions.
