dc.description.abstractEste proyecto de grado tiene como objetivo mejorar los procesos físicos y administrativos del área de fundición de la empresa Inca S.A.S., incrementando su eficiencia operativa. Para lograrlo, se realizó un diagnóstico exhaustivo del estado actual de la fundición, identificando deficiencias y oportunidades de mejora. Con base en este análisis, se diseñó un plan de mejora específico, enfocado en optimizar las operaciones y reducir ineficiencias. Entre las acciones implementadas destacan las mejoras tecnológicas y la reestructuración del flujo de trabajo en los procesos de fundición, con el propósito de minimizar rechazos y reprocesos, aumentando así la productividad. Además, se desarrolló un sistema de indicadores de gestión para monitorear el impacto de las mejoras y asegurar la comunicación efectiva de los cambios implementados en los procesos físicos y administrativos. En conjunto, estas iniciativas no solo mejoran la eficiencia del área de fundición, sino que también alinean sus operaciones con los objetivos estratégicos de Industrias Inca S.A.S., contribuyendo a su competitividad en el mercado.
dc.description.abstractenglishThis thesis project aims to improve the physical and administrative processes in the company's foundry area of Inca S.A.S., increasing its operational efficiency. To achieve this, an exhaustive diagnosis of the current state of the foundry was conducted, identifying deficiencies and areas for improvement. Based on this analysis, a specific improvement plan was designed, focused on optimizing operations and reducing inefficiencies. Key actions included technological upgrades and restructuring the workflow in the foundry processes to minimize rejections and rework, thereby increasing productivity. Additionally, a management indicator system was developed to monitor the impact of the improvements and ensure effective communication of the changes implemented in the physical and administrative processes. Together, these initiatives not only enhance the efficiency of the foundry area but also align its operations with the strategic objectives of Industrias Inca S.A.S., contributing to the company's competitiveness in the market.
