dc.description.abstractEl presente trabajo de investigación se realizó en el municipio Los Santos en el Departamento Santander; el propósito fue formular un plan de negocios para la producción de tomate orgánico con tecnología de invernadero en el municipio Los Santos, Santander, que demuestre la viabilidad para la creación de una empresa comercial. La metodología implementada correspondió al enfoque mixto, cuantitativo en la estructuración del análisis financiero y cualitativo por la revisión bibliográfica en relación con el estudio del mercado, el cual se realizó a partir de fuentes secundarias sobre el cultivo de tomate en un nivel global, nacional, regional y local. Los hallazgos más representativos se refieren a la determinación de la viabilidad financiera del proyecto que, a partir de una Tasa de Oportunidad TO calculada mediante la tasa WACC se estimó en 5,20% y de esta manera, la Tasa Interna de Retorno TIR esperada fue de 86% y un Valor Actual Neto VAN de $1.045.495.168; lo que ratifica la viabilidad financiera del proyecto ya que la TIR fue mayor que la TO, lo que da pie para pensar en la creación de la nueva empresa para la producción de tomate orgánico y la comercialización del producto en la región, ya que la proyección de la demanda potencial fue de $2.340.000.000.
dc.description.abstractenglishThe present research work was carried out in the Los Santos municipality in the Santander Department; The purpose was to formulate a business plan for the production of organic tomato with greenhouse technology in the municipality of Los Santos, Santander, which demonstrates the viability for the creation of a commercial company. The implemented methodology corresponded to the mixed, quantitative approach in the structuring of the financial and qualitative analysis by the bibliographic review in relation to the market study, which was carried out from secondary sources on tomato cultivation at a global, national level, regional and local. The most representative findings refer to the determination of the financial viability of the project, which, based on an Opportunity Rate TO calculated using the WACC rate, was estimated at 5.20% and thus, the expected IRR Internal Rate of Return was of 86% and a Net Present Value NPV of $ 1,045,495,168; which confirms the financial viability of the project since the IRR was higher than the OT, which gives rise to think about the creation of the new company for the production of organic tomato and the commercialization of the product in the region, since the projection of potential demand was $ 2,340,000,000.
