| dc.description.abstract | Escuela Semiótica de Tartu Moscú y los lineamientos generales de la Teoría de los Imaginarios Urbanos, propuesta desarrollada por el investigador colombiano Armando Silva para el estudio de las ciudades desde el terreno de la significación particular. Estas dos propuestas, consideradas distantes por sus arraigos epistemológicos fundamentales (la primera en la línea de la semiología saussuriana y la segunda de corte semiótico eminentemente peirceano), aportan dispositivos de indiscutible valor que permiten adentrarse en la observación interdisciplinar de lo urbano, entendido como unidad conformada por el territorio, los habitantes y la cotidianidad o sucesión de acontecimientos que ocurren en el tiempo y el espacio. Bellavista Imaginada expone la manera en que el barrio, fragmento de ciudad, se edifica como objeto simbólico, atendiendo a un proceso colectivo de reconocimiento que no es ajeno a la fantasía y a la subjetividad de los ciudadanos. Evidentemente, su propósito trasciende la simple indagación por la forma arquitectónica del barrio, para interesarse en la manera en que las elaboraciones imaginarias surten efecto sobre las maneras de sentir, vivir y representar los diversos escenarios urbanos. | |
| dc.description.abstractenglish | By trying to accomplish the comprehension of the neighbourhood as an object of investigation, the exploration of the city is based on the affirmation that it is necessary to overcome the interest on the form in order to focus on the study of new territories, daily life scenarios and subjectivity. Bellavista Imaginada establishes a close-up perspective between the main concepts developed by Iuri Lotman and the Tartu Moscu Semiotics School, and the urban imaginary theory, developed by the Colombian researcher Armando Silva. The latest theory is thought on the study of cities from the domain o particular signification. Both of these theories, considered distant one from the other because of its main epistemology differences (the first one follows the Saussurean semiology and the second one follows Peircean semiotics). They supply the investigation with valuable tools that let the researcher get into a multi-discipline perspective of urban matters (taken that as a unity formed by the territory, their inhabitants, and the daily issues that take place on an specific time and place. Bellavista Imaginada exposes the way that the neighbourhood, part of the city, is built as an symbolic object, and attempts to a collective process of self-knowledge that is far from being unknown by the fantasy and subjectivity of the inhabitants . Evidently, the investigation purpose goes beyond the mere structure of buildings to focus on the way the imaginary constructions affects how the urban scenarios are sensed, lived, and represented. | |
