dc.description.abstractEl presente proyecto tiene como objetivo principal la creación de un plan de desarrollo turístico para el municipio de Palmas del Socorro - Santander, como un apoyo al proceso de planificación turística, que permita promover en el municipio el desarrollo del turismo local, buscando mejorar la situación actual y que esté a su vez sea reconocido a nivel local, regional y nacional. Con este plan de desarrollo turístico se pretende contribuir con el desarrollo económico del municipio y la comunidad que vive en ella, pensando en el bienestar común y sin causar impacto negativo ambiental o social. Para el desarrollo de este proyecto se realizarán diferentes actividades, donde primero se llevará a cabo un diagnóstico basado en las generalidades del municipio, se revisará documentación existente sobre el municipio, consulta con la comunidad y autoridades con el fin de tener una mayor referencia. Después del diagnóstico se opta por hacer un reconocimiento y/o registro fotográfico, se tomarán los atractivos turísticos naturales y culturales, entidades públicas y privadas que se encuentren en el sector turístico, esto con fin de tener una base de datos actualizada. Asimismo, se realizará una matriz D.O.F.A que nos permitirá conocer las debilidades, oportunidades, fortalezas y amenazas que tiene el municipio de Palmas del Socorro. En base al análisis realizado al municipio se estructuran programas y proyectos para el desarrollo turístico del mismo.
dc.description.abstractenglishThe present project has as main objective the creation of a plan of tourist development for the municipality of Palmas del Socorro - Santander, as a support to the process of tourist planning, that allows to promote in the municipality the development of the local tourism, looking for to improve the present situation and that is as well recognized at local, regional and national level. This tourism development plan is intended to contribute to the economic development of the municipality and the community that lives there, thinking about the common welfare and without causing negative environmental or social impact. For the development of this project different activities will be carried out, where first a diagnosis of the municipality will be made also historical data will be consulted, its geography, economy, infrastructure, tourist plant among others, existing documentation on the municipality will be reviewed to have a greater reference. After the diagnosis, the decision is made to make a recognition and/or photographic record of the above, natural and cultural tourist attractions will be taken, public and private entities that are in the tourism sector, this in order to have an updated database. Likewise, a D.O.F.A. matrix will be made that will allow us to know the weaknesses, opportunities, strengths, and threats that the municipality of Palmas del Socorro has. Based on the analysis made to the municipality, programs, and projects for the tourist development of the same are structured
