dc.description.abstractenglish | The fact of making mistakes corresponds to a human act inherent to all the aspects that human beings go through. Under the latent need to study this phenomenon, this research work was developed whose main objective is to discover the perceptions that Primary Basic Education teachers have about error in public educational institutions in El Gran Santander. For this, a quantitative and transectional methodology was used since the study of the phenomenon occurs at a specific time. A questionnaire was designed and validated as a data collection instrument that was applied to teachers from two (2) public institutions in Santander and two (2) in Norte de Santander. Therefore, the sample corresponds to 38 practicing Primary Basic Education teachers from said departments. The results conclude that teachers have a positive perception of errors in all the dimensions investigated, but that there are still cases in which acceptance is not total, which makes teaching-learning processes necessary for teachers in training so that the phenomenon is increasingly valued more naturally. The predominance of a pedagogy of error is evident, applied not only in teachers' classrooms but also reflected in their social environment. It is emphasized, depending on the gender variable, that women give greater acceptance to the phenomenon compared to men and that depending on the age classification: the older they are, the greater their acceptance of it.
