dc.description.abstractEste trabajo, que hace parte del enfoque semiótico de investigación, trata de presentar, brevemen-te, algunas ideas acerca de la posibilidad de considerar la obra Estoraques, del poeta colombiano Eduardo Cote Lamus como una metáfora de la temporalidad. En esta investigación se puede apreciar una aproximación semiótica al poema Estoraques, espe-cialmente, a una estrofa en la que se dan como artífices del tiempo a filos hombresfl. Además, para este análisis semiótico se seleccionaron estos versos, ya que en ellos se muestran la toma de dis-tancia que hace el yo poético de los de su especie, al mencionar, filos hombresfl y referirse a fiellosfl como hacedores del tiempo, lo que de entrada, presupone una mirada subjetiva, pues éste solo existe en y por la conciencia. Con base en esto, se determina que el problema central de Estoraques no es la construcción de la temporalidad como eje central temático, sino la imperfección o las carencias de respuesta ante la pregunta por el sentido de la existencia. Se trata de un poema sobre la angustia existencial. Pero la figuración del tiempo como hipótesis no es anodina, sino también fundamental: el hombre, para encontrar el sentido de su existencia, construye el tiempo y con éste la memoria y la categorización del mundo-espacio y del mundo-tiempo, pero esta solución de categorización del mundo y de la memoria de la experiencia no van a saciar la sed de sentido; el eje temático fundamental del poe-ma es que la temporalidad como solución no resuelve la angustia ante el sentido de la existencia misma y esa angustia queda irresoluta, se mantiene la carencia y el hombre vuelve a los asuntos cotidianos de la ciudad para no seguir intentando, en vano, resolver los asuntos trascendentales frente a los cuales la temporalidad y la espacialidad parecen convertirse en impedimentos.
dc.description.abstractenglishThis work is part of the semiotic approach to research. It briefly presents some ideas about the possibility of considering the work of the Colombian poet Eduardo Cote Lamus as a metaphor for temporality. In this research we can see a semiotic approach to the poem Estoraques especially a stanza in which fimenfl are the architects of the time. Moreover, we selected these verses for this semiotic analysis because these show that the lyrical subject does one take away from their kind because he mentions the men by referring to them as doers of time that the input assumes a subjective view because this only exists in and by consciousness. On this basis it is determined that the central problem of this poem is not only the construction of temporality as a central theme but also the imperfections or deficiencies in response to the question of the meaning of life. This is a poem about the existential angst. But the figuration of time like hy-pothesis is not insignificant, it is fundamental: man; to find the meaning of his existence man builds over time and with this memory and categorization of the world-space and world-time, but this solu-tion of the categorization of the world and the memory of the experience will not quench the thirst for meaning; the main theme of the poem is that temporality does not solve the anguish and it re-mains unresolved. It remains the lack and the man returns to the everyday affairs related to the city and not to keep trying in vain solve transcendental matters against which the temporality and spati-ality appear to become impaired.
