dc.description.abstractEsta investigación se centra en identificar, analizar y describir las formas de razonamiento abductivo, inductivo y deductivo que desarrollan estudiantes de los primeros grados de educación básica secundaria con edades entre 11 y 14 años en su actividad matemática, cuando enfrentan tareas que implican generalización de patrones figurales y numéricos. Este trabajo en particular intenta aportar luces en relación con las características de cada forma de razonamiento, la manera como se expresan los estudiantes y algunas dificultades que evidencian. A su vez se busca con las tareas propuestas brindar elementos asociados con la enseñanza y el aprendizaje del álgebra escolar y generar reflexiones profundas en las formas alternativas de intervención en el aula. La metodología adoptada se desarrolla bajo un enfoque cualitativo, la cual permite realizar una descripción del fenómeno de estudio y profundizar en cómo se expresan las formas de razonamiento inferencial, que a su vez permite describir e interpretar los resultados expuestos por los estudiantes cuando desarrollan las tareas propuestas. Los resultados de esta investigación evidencian que los estudiantes en la materialidad de la actividad logran expresar las formas de razonamiento inferencial, especialmente la abducción y la inducción, en cuanto a la deducción se evidencian aspectos interesantes en el desarrollo de ideas algebraicas. *
dc.description.abstractenglishThis research focuses on identifying, analyzing, and describing the forms of abductive, inductive, and deductive reasoning developed by students in the first grades of secondary basic education between the ages of 11 and 14 in their mathematical activity, when they face tasks that involve the generalization of figural and numerical patterns. This particular work attempts to shed light on the characteristics of each form of reasoning, the way students express themselves, and some of the difficulties they encounter. At the same time, the proposed tasks seek to provide elements associated with the teaching and learning of school algebra and to generate profound reflections on alternative forms of intervention in the classroom. The methodology adopted is developed under a qualitative approach, which allows for a description of the phenomenon of study and a deepening of how forms of inferential reasoning are expressed, which in turn allows for describing and interpreting the results presented by students when they develop the proposed tasks. The results of this research show that students in the materiality of the activity are able to express the forms of inferential reasoning, especially abduction and induction, as far as deduction is concerned, interesting aspects are evident in the development of algebraic ideas. * Graduation paper ** Faculty of Exact Sciences.
