dc.description.abstractEl presente protocolo de limpieza y recuperación manual y mecánica del material vegetativo flotante, medial y firmal, existente en los humedales de la cuenca del Rio Magdalena, es una herramienta metodológica y participativa tanto de profesionales como de las comunidades involucradas que desarrollan su sustento dentro de la red hídrica del rio - humedal y que va a permitir recuperar las principales funciones que cumplen éstos cuerpos hídricos como la de regulación de ciclos hidrológicos y biológicos, zonas de amortiguación y control de inundaciones, remoción y control de sedimentos, controladores de erosión, aportación de nutrientes, sirven de corredores biológicos de especies migratorias, hábitat de muchas especies de fauna y flora son áreas de apareamiento, reproducción, alimentación y crecimiento de especies hidrobiológicas y de importancia pesquera, además de ser zonas de aprovechamiento económico de las comunidades de pescadores artesanales. Por tanto, proporciona métodos técnicos que se necesitan para abordar los trabajos de recuperación integral, y al mismo tiempo un método que pueda ser utilizado y aplicado por las personas interesadas incluyendo las no profesionales. Así mismo, el resultado monográfico, permite realizar estudios previos, estandarizar las actividades y prever los riesgos laborales producto de los trabajos que se realizan en torno a la limpieza y recuperación de los humedales; y aporta a las entidades e instituciones públicas o privadas estimaciones de los presupuestos para el desarrollo de los proyectos.
dc.description.abstractenglishThe present protocol of manual and mechanical cleaning and recovery of the vegetative floating material, medial and firm, existing in the wetlands of the Magdalena river basin, is a methodological and participative tool of both professionals and the communities involved who develop their livelihood within the water network of the river wetland, this will allow to recover the main functions that these water bodies fulfill such as the regulation of hydrological and biological cycles, buffer zones and flood control, sediment removal and control, erosion controllers, nutrients supply, serve as biological corridors of migratory species, habitat of many species of fauna and flora are areas of mating, reproduction, feeding and growth of hydrobiological species and of fishing importance, besides being areas of economic use of artisanal fishermen communities. Therefore, provides technical methods that are needed to address comprehensive recovery work, and at the same time a method that can be used and applied by stakeholders including non-professionals. Likewise, the monographic result, allows to carry out previous studies, to standardize the activities and to anticipate the occupational risks resulting from the works that are carried out around the cleaning and recovery of the wetlands; also provides public and private entities and institutions with estimates of budgets for the development of projects.
