dc.description.abstractEste trabajo se realizó buscando consolidar el material fosilífero de la escuela de Geología que se encontraba disperso y desorganizado en los laboratorios y la litoteca. Esto se realizó siguiendo un plan de trabajo de investigación y aplicación que dio lugar a la Colección Geológica de Fósiles. La metodología utilizada en la elaboración del proyecto empieza con una revisión bibliográfica de trabajos previos en museos y universidades. A continuación, se hace un inventario del material y la información existente en la escuela, del cual, siguiendo los criterios de selección se escogen los que se integrarán a la colección. Luego, se registra la información de los ejemplares y sus fotografías, con esto se elabora el Catálogo de muestras de la colección. Después, se seleccionan las diez muestras más representativas para la toma de fotografías y el modelamiento 3D con la ayuda de la herramienta eyesCloud3D. Para terminar, se realiza la Guía de manejo y gestión, con la que se espera lograr la organización, documentación, preservación y utilización de la Colección Geológica de Fósiles. Así como las directrices para el ingreso de nuevo material, para que este pueda ser usado como material de apoyo por estudiantes y docentes en las asignaturas de Paleontología.
dc.description.abstractenglishThis work was carried out in an effort to consolidate the fossiliferous material of the school of Geology that was scattered and disorganized in the laboratories and the lithotheque. This was done following a research and application work plan that resulted in the Geological Fossil Collection. The methodology used in the elaboration of the project begins with a bibliographic review of previous works in museums and universities. Next, an inventory of the material and information existing in the school was made, from which, following the selection criteria, those that will be integrated into the collection were chosen. Then, the information about the specimens and their photographs was registered, and with this, the Catalog of samples from the collection was elaborated. After that, the ten most representative samples were selected for photography and 3D modeling with the help of the eyesCloud3D tool. Finally, the Management Guide was made, with which it was expected to achieve the organization, documentation, preservation, and use of the Geological Collection of Fossils. As well as the guidelines for the entry of new material, so that it can be used as support material by students and teachers in the subjects of Paleontology.
