dc.description.abstractEl proyecto se desarrolló en la Planta Extractora Vizcaya S.A.S argumentado en las necesidades de tomar decisiones con base en la información confiable y oportuna, interesada en mejorar su competitividad en términos de costos, rendimiento y calidad del aceite, teniendo en cuenta las consecuencias de la no calidad en el proceso productivo que contribuye un problema de gran transcendencia social y económica. Consecuentes con la progresiva incorporación de los sistemas de gestión de calidad en el proceso que brinda mejoras a los problemas que afectan la producción. La metodología utilizada se basa en la filosofía Seis Sigma cuantificando la calidad en términos de cumplimiento de las condiciones de operación y las especificaciones del mercado. Iniciando con la descripción general de las variables del proceso, posterior la identificación de variables críticas por medio del AMEF que esclarece desde su NPR, las pocas vitales y sus etapas productivas, se definen métodos de medición, se identifica el tipo de gráfico de control de acuerdo a el tipo de variable, se calcula los índices de capacidad, su nivel Seis Sigma y se analiza desde la perspectiva de sus límites de especificación, para así iniciar el periodo de monitoreo de las variables críticas, para posterior identificación de causas asignables a cada métrico primario, demostrando su significancia y determinando el deber ser del proceso en cada una de sus etapas productivas, evaluadas desde el diseño de experimentos, para con ello finalmente concluir que el proceso no cumple en ciertos puntos con las especificaciones del cliente, y no cumple con los criterios de capacidad, por lo que en este proyecto se formulan las mejoras para tales puntos de desestabilidad demostrados estadísticamente. ________________ * Proyecto de grado. dc.description.abstractenglishThe project was developed in the Extractor Plant Vizcaya S. A. S argued in the needs to take decisions based on reliable information and timely, interested in improving its competitiveness in terms of costs, performance and quality of the oil taking into account the consequences of non-quality in the productive process that contributes to a problem of great concern, social and economic. Consistent with the progressive incorporation of quality management systems in the process that provides improvements to the problems that affect production. The methodology used is based on the philosophy of Six Sigma quantifying the quality in terms of compliance with the operating conditions and the specifications of the market.
