dc.description.abstract	: La planificación territorial sostenible garantiza la correcta integración del turismo en la economía, la sociedad, la cultura y el medio ambiente, además de una adecuada satisfacción de la demanda turística. Por ello, es indispensable llevar a cabo el diseño un modelo que sirva como instrumento para lograr un desarrollo turístico sostenible en el departamento de Santander. El cual ha demostrado un comportamiento de crecimiento exponencial en los últimos años, según las estadísticas del MinCIT (2019). Esta propuesta se plantea a partir de una necesidad de la Provincia Comunera y para efectos del presente estudio se toma como muestra 7 municipios donde se evidencia un desarrollo turístico mayor a los demás municipios de la provincia, la muestra comprende los municipios: Gámbita, Guadalupe, Oiba, Palmas del Socorro, Simacota, Socorro y Suaita; donde no hay evidencia de un modelo de planificación territorial sostenible que permita desarrollar adecuadamente el potencial turístico de esta. Se busca consolidar los elementos que identifican el sistema turístico de los siete municipios de muestra que han sido reconocidos por su auge turístico de manera esporádica, demostrando la importancia de un modelo orientador de la actividad turística, por lo que se plantea la siguiente propuesta de diseño de un modelo de planificación territorial para la sostenibilidad turística, que tiene como eje transversal la sostenibilidad articulada a los principios de competitividad e innovación, mediante el análisis de los componentes del Sistema Turístico de Molina. Buscando así, generar desarrollo y mostrar una hoja de ruta a seguir para garantizar un desarrollo turístico ordenado y pertinente a las características del territorio.
dc.description.abstractenglish	Sustainable territorial planning guarantees the correct integration of tourism into the economy, society, culture and the environment, as well as an adequate satisfaction of tourism demand. Therefore, it is essential to design a model that serves as an instrument to achieve sustainable tourism development in the department of Santander. Which has shown an exponential growth behavior in recent years, according to statistics from MinCIT (2019). This proposal arises from a need of the Comunera Province and for the purposes of this study is taken as a sample 7 municipalities where there is evidence of tourism development greater than the other municipalities of the province, the sample includes the municipalities: Gámbita, Guadalupe, Oiba, Palmas del Socorro, Simacota, Socorro and Suaita; where there is no evidence of a sustainable territorial planning model that allows to adequately develop the tourism potential of this. It seeks to consolidate the elements that identify the tourism system of the seven sample municipalities that have been recognized for their tourism boom sporadically, demonstrating the importance of a guiding model of tourism activity, so the following proposal for the design of a territorial planning model for tourism sustainability, which has as a transversal axis the sustainability articulated to the principles of competitiveness and innovation, through the analysis of the components of the Tourism System of Molina. Thus, seeking to generate development and show a roadmap to follow to ensure an orderly and relevant tourism development to the characteristics of the territory.
