dc.description.abstractEl presente trabajo de grado es una investigación cualitativa ubicada en el paradigma socio-crítico que, debido a la necesidad de abordar la realidad de una manera integral, hace uso de un componente cuantitativo. El estudio fue desarrollado bajo la modalidad de trabajo de investigación, con el objetivo de conocer las características de la agricultura familiar desde el enfoque de la multifuncionalidad en la vereda Helechales del municipio de Floridablanca, para establecer las formas de desarrollo que se expresan en el territorio. En la recolección de información, se aplicó la encuesta como instrumento de fuente primaria a las familias ubicadas en el territorio y se llevó a cabo la gestión de información con actores clave a partir de un ejercicio cartográfico, la construcción de una línea de tiempo y las visitas a finca. Se reconoce como principal resultado que la continuidad de las familias agricultoras en el territorio se encuentra en crisis por las consecuencias que derivan de su actividad que es el cultivo de café. Sin embargo, las múltiples funciones que cumple la agricultura familiar les ha permitido subsistir, organizarse y generar estrategias para la defensa de su territorio, aportando a la construcción de tejido social, la conservación de la cultura, la conservación del ecosistema y el fortalecimiento de la identidad como campesinos.
dc.description.abstractenglishThe present degree work is a qualitative research located in the sociocritique paradigm whom due to the necessity in approach reality in a integral way, uses a quantitative component. The study was developed under the research work modality, having as objective knowing the family farming characteristics, from the multifunctionality at Helechales sidewalk from Floridablanca municipality, to establish the development that is expressed in the territory. In the collection of information, the survey was applied as a primary source instrument to the families located in the territory and information management was carried out with key actors from a cartographic exercise, the construction of a timeline and the visits to farm. It is recognized as the main result that the continuity of the farming families in the territory is in crisis due to the consequences that derive from their activity, which is the cultivation of coffee. However, the multiple functions that family farming performs have allowed them to survive, organize and generate strategies for the defense of their territory, contributing to the construction of a social fabric, the conservation of culture, the conservation of the ecosystem and the strengthening of the identity as peasants.
